Your post on Reddit is ignored in favour of Title: My Girlfriend Just Cheated on Me With My Husbands Boyfriend! Your post on TikTok is gonna get 5k views but 1 like because nobody actually cares except your one mutual (if you even have that). Nobody gives a fuck about your creativity unless you use the right bait.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot due to experience with trying to connect with people, sharing my art (etc), and constantly failing to even get seen or acknowledged. Not to mention most people seem to get on social media to be seen and not to be spoken to. Everyone just avoids each other like the godsdamned plague. Everyone hates each other, there’s always some discourse that is fucking stupid.
