I think about like. the casual way in which sonic takes care of tails, and vector with espio n charmy. how it is so second nature, neither side thinks about it. and I think about maybe one time, when they're working together, vector does the same to sonic. nothing huge or dramatic. maybe scruffs him a little to stop him from walking into a trap, or picks him up and sets him on his feet after he's been knocked down. the interaction only lasts for seconds and vectors already moved on, he didn't even register it, because he lives with espio and charmy and its just What He Does. but sonic is absolutely not used to being treated that way and it throws him
