STEPHEN AMELL | THIRTY FIVE | SEQUENCE | GIF HUNT: ✘
Michael had a typical upbringing, great parents, an annoying little brother he’d protect with his life, and quite the natural talent in sports. Until the death of his father of course. He was forced to grow up quickly and became aware of his powers at the age of sixteen. Michael spent two years attempting to learn how to control his gravity based abilities. However, an incident concerning the death of his mother’s questionable boyfriend caused Michael to harm the man. Within days, Michael was discovered by an organization and recruited into a Conduit Spec Ops unit which he’d ultimately become the leader of just shy of a decade later.
After the war ended, his memory was wiped and replaced as it was with all disband Conduit units. PRIME recruited and transferred him to the Chicago branch. Now working as both an agent and as a cop, Michael is also secretly harboring a connection to the Mavericks.
Michael can shape, and manipulate gravitation, a natural phenomenon by which all physical bodies attract each other, and gravitons, hypothetical elementary particles that mediate the force of gravitation. Over the years Michael has learned how to use this to mimic the power of Telekinesis, lower or raise gravity in a small area or even cause the center of gravity to shift. He also can generate a personal gravity field which not only granted him enhanced physical attributes but also the ability to fly as well. Despite what he could do, Michael can not actual create gravitons only manipulate already existing ones. He also requires energy to keep the effects standing and can be drained quickly if he tries to perform to vast a feat.
Michael met Zach during the war, he was the leader of their Conduit Unit. While the young Sequence was more of an annoyance to him, the two eventually developed a friendly and respectful rivalry of sorts. Also both underwent a memory wipe after the war, they retained their bond when ‘meeting’ at a local gym. The exact depth of their closeness is questioned by many.
AARON BISHOP: Little Brother
Aaron is Michael’s sole sibling and his junior by nine years. Michael helped raised him for much of his life and the two have a close but sometimes difficult relationship from Michael leaving to join the military. Aaron is one of Michael’s reasons for occasionally helping the Mavericks as he arranged to have them keep his brother who is now Sequence XV out of PRIME’s hands.
JAYSON MIKAELSON: Successive
Jayson is Michael’s Successive and one he is directly responible for in terms of training. Many joke on the kid’s name and similarities to Michael. Jayson reminds him quite a bit of himself but with a much lighter innocent personality of one not as weighed down as Michael was at that age.
Chris is Michael’s assigned partner when he’s working as a police detective. The two get along pretty well with Michael knowing about and tolerating some of the man’s darker impluses to a point. Although he doesn’t completely trust him, there’s enough trust there for Michael to not worry too much on rather he’ll have his back when it comes down to it.
CHRISTIAN SALVATORE: Successive
Christian is a successive that until recently, Michael had no actual experience and run ins with. Despite that, he can’t help but wonder why he seems so familar to him.
Another former member of the same Conduit Unit during the war. While much of the memory of that time is gone, a instinctual dislike for each other remains to this day.
