Nigerâs new antiâLGBTQIA+ law is beyond cruel â itâs dangerous. This is LEGALIZING assault. Nobody has a choice anymore. It doesnât just make LGBTQIA+ identity illegal, it creates a world where anyone walking down the street can be cornered and threatened into sex. The law is so vague that even asexuality is treated like a crime, which means if a random person demands sex and you refuse, they can threaten to report you for being LGBTQIA+. Thatâs all it takes. One accusation. One lie. One person deciding your ânoâ makes you suspicious. This isnât protection, it isnât morality, it isnât order â itâs a weapon handed straight to abusers. It turns consent into a liability and puts every single person at risk, not just LGBTQIA+ people. Itâs a heinous law that punishes identity and empowers predators, and everyone should be furious about it. And NOBODYS identity should be illegal, thatâs just like somebody telling you that you HAVE to be queer. That loving who YOU love is illegal. I for one believe that these new laws are not only dangerous, cruel, and heinous, but idiotic.
