В данном случае перевод на русский был сделан не с английского, а непосредственно с санскрита, поэтому есть некоторые несовпадения. Например, avidya было переведено как "действие" (action), хотя переводится как незнание (vidya - знание). Но оба перевода считаются классическими. Так же английская транскрипция не может в точности передать произношения - в тексте не хватает очень важных диакритических знаков. Скажем, слово mamrtam обозначается как mamR^itaM и звучит скорее как мамритам.
