The zoning in the city can be ass at times, but many locals liken it as a local flavor. Things such as hospitals being near shield and safety zone generators or a turn being 90° turn on a highway.

One of the ideas of sunset city being settled on a world at the edge of the universe where it frays, is that they wanted to make a shithole loveable enough that no subjugative entity would ever want to bother with holding land there. Many forgein agencies try to infiltrate the city, but often get sussed out pretty fast due to local customs.
