Disappointment is often the end of an illusion. Don't go around putting the blame on who didn't meet your expectations. Everyone is driven by the desire to satisfy themself by pursuing a set of goals they want to achieve, and the possibility of your expectations being on that list is often very minor and even if they are they are given some sort of a low priority; therefore, keep your expectations realistic.
