In all honesty, how long do you think it will take for me to get my board if I order from xvd today? I've heard that people have been waiting over 3 months (when being told it would be much sooner). The customer service sounds horrible with issues about emails not being replied to. Your thoughts?

I say the you'd get it within a 1-3 weeks. I've seen how they work first hand at the shop and they've been doing better when it comes to customer service.Rob and Andrew have a lot on their plate and sometimes can't always get to the phone, but they try their hardest to reply to messages. Just stay patient and get to them through messages on facebook or emails. They'll probably see those the soonest.

For that anon, I just got a Mindless Hunter, it's great for carving around but the 9 inch width and 44 inch length combination means that hard carving means it flexes a lot and scrapes the ground, so expect some early scratches. It's my first longboard and, for the price, it's good. I've got carving down and it's beautiful to cruise on. The wheels are very soft so don't expect to be sliding around a lot. Definitely recommend for a beginner.

Do you think a Mindless Hunter board is good for beginners?

The deck looks OKAY. Everything else looks cheap and generic. It seems alright for just cruising, but that's it. If you're on a tight budget and just wanna cruise only it'll be fine. If you spend a little more money, you can get a better board that you'll actually be able to do more on than just cruise around.
