Last night, I posted about needing mods (which we have now, thank you), and noticed there were some concerns. I’d like to take this time to clear up any concerns you may have.

First, our plans: We are no longer hosting public masterlists of the MDZS audio drama, 2HA, or The Untamed episodes here on tumblr. Repeat, no more masterlists!

Instead, we are taking all of our downloads to a public Discord server:

We are only hosting downloads via Mega. This means Google Drive or MP4 downloads will no longer be available.

This is something we talked about doing a few months ago and feel there is no better time than now!

Some of you are already familiar with Discord. Great! We can’t wait to see you there. 

Two biggest rules of our Discord group: 

1) DO NOT REUPLOAD OUR EPISODES! 

2) DO NOT SHARE THE INDIVIDUAL MEGA DOWNLOAD LINKS!

Some of you don’t know what Discord is, or you may feel this will leave some people behind. Never fear, read on and let me tell you just how easy it is to install and navigate Discord!

For those of you where Discord is blocked, I recommend using a VPN. 

Discord was originally built as a chat app for gamers. And it still works this way! However, it’s developed into something much bigger, hosting servers for many different groups of people. Chat servers, gaming servers, all kinds of fandoms and hobbies, and this and that. The list goes on and on and on.

Discord is available through Google Play store for Android and the app store for iOS. On PC and Mac, you can use Discord through a browser or download the app.

Before joining our group, I suggest joining other groups on Discord first just to get the hang of it. There are MDZS groups, danmei groups, anime groups. Google one and find a public link! Yes, it really is that easy to join some groups!!

This is another answer I got from local fans when I asked: 'What does it mean for XZ to have a 'Personal Studio’?’

“Means he has the right to decide and choose his work. Also, there would be a professional team, who will always support him, do things that benefits him…

…and most importantly, protect him when he is misunderstood or something.”

So he is still under Wjjw, but his career and protection is basically handled by his own Studio.

Evidently, this is not a rare thing in Chinese entertainment (CEnt). A personal brand gets too big for a company with a zillion clients to manage (though of course we could say it’s been like that for all of XNINE since the beginning lol). Zhan now basically has a bespoke PR firm with some management capabilities. This is a slightly looser situation than kpop fans are used to with Korean companies. And clearly it’s awesome news for Zhan and everyone who’s been concerned about his well-being during this latest explosion of his fame, especially since he has at least two more major acting projects in the can waiting for release while he keeps working of The Oath of Love.

(⬆️auto-translate) XZS is already hard at work promoting Jade Dynasty’s performance at the box office with some new visuals. Keep in mind that our boy was a graphic artist before all this, and he did design the logo, so get ready for more quality in that department (though he’s not doing everything because the point is HE’S BUSY). Notes: 1) We have decided to release only mkv files for this audio drama. One of the main reasons is to discourage upload of our subbed files to YouTube or other video streaming websites and social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, etc.

2) Please download the file on your PC or laptop first and then play it. Please don’t try to play it on MEGA website itself. The video player software on MEGA may not be equipped to play these files correctly along with the subtitles.

3) How to play an MKV file?!?!? -> MKV files are perfectly playable on PCs and laptops having Windows, Linux and MAC operating systems. If you have the latest mobiles, even they might support playing soft-subbed files. For laptop or PC viewing, you just have to download VLC Player software. Please do not use QuickTime or Windows Media Player for these files. These softwares do not have the capability to decode the mkv files properly and display them.

4) If MEGA is blocked in our country, please try these steps- a) Please download the ultrasurf executable (please select the file according to your operating system-it is available for windows,  linux as well as Mac OS). b) Unzip it and place the executable anywhere, like Desktop or somewhere. c) Run that executable and you’re location will be masked. d) Now try to open the torrent link or MEGA link in your internet browser, it should open as normal and you can download the file. 

What ultrasurf does is,  it masks your location and IP address so that your IP address. So any sites that are generally blocked should be accessible since you are technically accessing the blocked files from a location different from your country because of ultrasurf.
