《 Short Fanfic: "Just for one Night." 》
Smii7y aka. Jaren, wasn't able to sleep for the last few nights and had no idea how to make the sleep schedule easier for him.
Jaren laid in bed every single night with lights out or on, just starring at the blank ceiling of his Bedroom, it has been 3 sleepless nights and it's driving Jaren insane after a while... until he came into a dumb idea, well for him it was a good idea but for the other person, it has horrific.
Jaren wants to call Kryoz aka. John in the middle of the night to make himself feel better and more tired, John was some sort of his little comfort person and who knows how far it will go on.
“Another fucking sleepless night...” huffed Jaren under his breath annoyed, he kept looking at his phone for the time, and it barely changes.
Jaren kept laying on his bed and even counted sheeps jumping over and single fence, didn't seem to work either, he even meditated for an hour before going to bed and that didn't seem to work out, basically he tried everything, but it was useless.
“The fuck am i suppose to do?... I have literally nothing that can make me fall asleep.” Mumbled Jaren quietly while he sat right back up on his bed, his hands going through his hair while he thought of a solution, it took him like two to three minutes to think of something that could help him out until he thought of something.
“AHA! I got it!” He snapped his fingers like in a silly animated cartoon and quickly grabbed his phone and called his closest friend... Kryoz aka. John.
He reached over for his phone and looked for John's number in the contact list, as soon as he found it he clicked on John's name and called him: “Let's hope this works ay, I wonder if he's awake or asleep.” Giggled Jaren nervously, he was hoping that John would answer his call.
John was peacefully laying on his bed with his blanket covering his body to keep him warm while he's asleep, suddenly his phone started to light up and vibrate next to him. His green likely eyes slowly opened as he groaned annoyed and tried to grab for his phone: “Who the fuck is calling me at this hour...?” Moaned John angrily as he reached his arm out for the vibrated phone, as he was able to grab the phone, he took a look at the screen wondering who's calling him.
“You've got to be kidding me…” His eyes slowly opened up fully and as he looked at the screen, his expression went from anger to annoyance, he picked up the call anyway and turned around to lay on his back to stare at the ceiling and listen to Jaren's voice.
“The fuck do you want?” Answered John in a deep tone, his voice still sounded sleepy afterall.
( “Heyyyy, you awake?” Asked Jaren on the phone, a smile appearing on his face, hoping for an answer from him. )
“For fuck’s sake Jaren, why are you calling me at this hour?” One of John's hands slid on his face from his forehead down to the chin while he lets out a long exhale.
( “Well... I can't sleep and what i mean by "can't", I literally can't, i recently only had like an hour or thirty minutes of sleep the last three nights and i tried everything to make myself fall asleep, i even tried to call the others like Matt or Chris, i even tried Nelson and yet nothing helped at all soooo... the last solution i had in mind is calling you." Giggled Jaren at the last few words. )
John lets out a long sigh again while he scratched his head with his other hand, thinking of how he could response to that unexpected 'saying' from Jaren: “Geez Jaren... look, I don't know how i can help honestly, and it would be great if you can let me fucking sleep you dipshit.” John groaned with a annoyed tone.
( “But jooooohn... your the only person that could really help me you know?” )
“And how the fuck am i suppose to do that hm? Do i have like some magic powers to make you fall asleep or something?” Giggled John with a grin on his face, he didn't believe a word Jaren said to him.
( “John, if i'm honest... it's your voice that has magic powers.” John could hear how serious Jaren responded, but he didn't seem to take it serious at all. )
John lets out a sudden loud laugh: “You're kidding me!? Making jokes at this hour, come on Jaren... we both know that isn't the case!” He sat up on his bed while his hand touching his forehead.
( “John, this is serious... i get tired when i hear your voice, it calms me down and if i'm fucking honest with you... i could hear it all night, that's why i'm calling you.” Huffed Jaren under his breath, his voice expression getting nervous. )
Suddenly John eyes widened, his cheeks on his face slowly turning red while he had to think of a perfect response, he had to progress the sentence for a few seconds when suddenly Jaren interrupted the silence.
( “I'm sorry, forget what i said ... it sounds so stupid from me really!” Laughed Jaren behind the phone, John heard how nervous Jaren reacted, and so he tried to calm him down by comforting him. )
“No no Jaren, I understood what you said and you as my best friend... i could do one favor for you, i tell you some random shit while you get yourself comfortable over there in your bed alright? BUT ... just for one night okay?” John's voice went quieter and calmer, he didn't want to hurt Jaren's feelings because he starts to believe his words time by time, so he decided to act nicer and give him the favor.
( Jaren quietly gasped and so his voice started to rise up from pure happiness: “Wow john... thank you, really i don't know what to say but... Thank you!” )
“Yeah yeah, just get comfortable... I'll just tell you a story or something like that, I'll get an idea somehow.” John laid back down on his bed with his back and started to think of something he could tell Jaren for a few minutes while Jaren started to cover himself up with a blanket and laid on his right side, so he was close to the phone to hear all the words John will say to him.
( “I'm ready John, just start talking when you are!” Giggled Jaren, hoping this would work. )
John stared at the ceiling and lets out one last sigh before he finally had a idea in his head: “Sounds dumb but... I'll just tell you a goodnight story, that's the only thing i have in my head right now.” He slowly turned to the left side where his phone was laying and stayed close to it so Jaren could hear the words he was about to say.
( “Go on... I'm waiting, just say something random... I don't mind.” )
John rolled his eyes with a grin on his face and started to talk in a narrative expression.
“Okay... Once upon a time, an old mother pig had three piglets. Unfortunately, she didn’t have enough food to keep them, so she sent them out to seek their own luck. When the first pig went out, he met a man with a bundle of straw... the pig said, "Sir, please give me the straw, so I can build a house." the man gave him the straw, and the pig built a house out of straw--…”
As John wanted to continue talking, he suddenly heard a snort from the phone and a laugh afterwards, he looked confused at the phone with a raised eyebrow: "The fuck is wrong with you Jaren?”
( “Seriously John?... Three little pigs? You gotta be kidding me.” Laughed Jaren, his hand covering his face. )
John lets out a annoyed tone: “You wanna keep laughing about me telling you a story or do you want to sleep fuckass?” He shaked his head slightly.
( “Okay okay, sorry... keep going.” Jaren giggled for the last time and suddenly went quiet. )
“Alright you dipshit... okay... Soon after, a big bad wolf passed by. He knocked on the door and said, "Hey, little pig, let me in." ... ”
“And after that? The big bad wolf never came back again, he was too scared of the three smart little pigs. And the pigs? They lived happily ever after, together in the house made of bricks... Alright, are you happy now?” As John finished telling the story he could hear a small snoring sound from the phone.
“Uhh… Jaren, you up?” John asked again and yet after he waited five seconds, there was no response: “Fucking hell, it did work, huh?”
He couldn't believe it at first but still after trying to ask a few questions to Jaren, there was still no answer, the snoring didn't stop afterall: “Hm... i guess your asleep heh... you asshole, really.”
Giggled John and as soon he wanted to hang up, he hesitated and thought for a moment before putting his phone back next to him. “Ugh... i guess i'll just sleep, to lazy to hang up right now... Goodnight Jaren.”
John gets himself comfortable on his bed and covers himself up with a blanket to keep him warm for the night. Before John closed his eyes, he lets out a gentle smile on his face while he stared at his phone for a few seconds, as soon he closed his eyes it didn't take him long to fall asleep aswell and both finally could sleep peacefully for the night.
