Recently, a colleague asked me a simple question that triggered a vivid memory – nearly seven years after the experience.  Explaining my LSA background in Political Science and History, my colleague inquired whether I had a concentration of study. That one was easy - American Constitutional Law and Politics – definitely. But also, Political Thought and Theory – and American History – and Latino(a) Studies. Quite straightforward, really [ensue hesitation and quizzical stare].

…I decided to tell a story instead.

Matthew Adams, LS&A Social Media Manager, embraces his alter ego, Ulysses M. Squirrel, and acts like a squirrel on the University of Michigan Diag in Ann Arbor, MI on October 24, 2014.

Adams passed out social media cards in addition to acting like a squirrel, prompting students to follow the University of Michigan LS&A twitter and join the “squirrel quest” with the hashtag #squest.
