Blood doesn't always define you

No matter what Rey was determine and steady fast. She would not turn; not even for him. She hid her ship before heading to the market. She needed supplies. Food. Water. Clothes. She felt him getting closer so she bought what she needed and went to where she used to live. It wasnt much, but it was shelter and above all else private. She sat crossing her legs and reached out to him through the force. "Ben..."

Ben har landed right outside the city. As soon as she connected herself with him, he could feel her close. "Hello Rey. Where are you?" He pressed the controls and the door opened of his ship. He hopped out onto the wing and left his helmet behind. He closed the doors and jump off his ship."

"I am where it all began for me. If you know anything about me as you claim than you will find me. I'm not running, Ben. Not anymore." She started eatting some fruit.

She glared at him. "We may be small, but not weak." She looked away from him still keeping their connection. "I know you are not the bad guy. Snoke is. You are good, Ben. " She sighed. "I want to help you. Have you even thought about your mother?"

"Stop calling me Ben...Ben is dead." He pauses. "Of course I do we may not agree but she is my blood I will always have some sort of connection to her."

Rey shook her head. "I dont believe that. Ben is alive and well. I see it every time we talk. Kylo is dead." She sighed. She was getting weak from keeping the connection. She was not as trained as he was. Yet. "The General misses you. She may not say it out loud, but I can tell."

"You are very confused. I can sense you are getting weak. I will speak with you another time soon when you build your strength back up. I dont care to have you collapse in front of me."

Rey was frustrated with herself. She did not like showing weskness. Especially infront of him. "Why dont you talk to me face to face. I can leave easily." She did not want to put her comrades in danger.

He raised his brow and smirked. "Where would you like to meet...I will let you decide. I'm trusting you wont try to ambush me."

"Jakku. I could say the same to you. It goes both ways. I will come alone, but not unarmed. You are welcome to do the same." Her hand migrated to Luke's Lightsaber attached to her side. "Twenty four hours from now." She was telling the truth and trusting him. She hoped he could feel it in the Force that connected them.

"Well I should hope you wouldn't be so foolish and to go anywhere and meet anyone without being armed. It so shall be done. See you there." He nodded and broke the connection. He headed to his ship immediately.

"Are you so sure that all of them are on your side? Or do they sense you power and want to use you for their own gain. The rebellion is weak Rey. Are you so sure I am the bad guy?"

Rey wanted to scream at the top of lungs. "Unfortunate? You could have stopped that. Ive seen it. You are not destined to be on the dark side."

"You're wrong I've fully embraced the dark side. You are new to all of your powers...I would say quite confused. Come to me and let me teach you about what I have seen."

There was certainly a part of Rey that wanted to go with him. She could feel the pull of the Dark side. It was almost unbearable at times. "No. You're wrong. This isnt you. I can feel the conflict within you, Ben....." She reached out.
