Perhaps patience works the same way in our own lives.

We plant seeds whenever we begin something new, care for a relationship, learn a skill or make a quiet promise to ourselves. Results rarely appear immediately. Sometimes all we can do is create the right conditions and trust that meaningful growth takes time.

Not every seed will sprout. Not every season will unfold as expected. But tending the garden still changes us. It teaches us to notice small things, respect natural rhythms and keep showing up before there is evidence that our effort matters.

And finally—listening. Not to respond. But to actually understand the person in front of you.
