The Last Rose Petal

Time after time, the same thing happens.

Is it me? Do I have a sign above my head that reads “Use me”? Or do I just pick the worst human beings in the world.Those who never cared about my feelings and just wanted to fuck around. 

I told myself, this would be the last time I let this happen to me. Then a month later, boom! Same shit, different person. 

I need to shield my heart, and share it with those that have prove to me that they truly love and care about me. 

None of this bullshit. 

I deserve the love I give.

Too fast Too slow Not at all.

The only thing that appears to be constant is my ability to picture our lives together in the near, but in reality, far future. I guess that’s my brain’s way of telling me that I crave longevity and stability.

As a Taurus, I was always told that I’m stubborn and that I don’t like change. When I care about something or someone, nothing can change the way I feel about them. It doesn’t mean that I’m not open to others’ opinions, but I wouldn’t say I’m easily swayed either.

When I like someone, I fall hard. Suddenly my world feels lighter, I smile more, and every day is a new opportunity.

Work feels less stressful because I know at the end of the day I get to see your face. Nothing could ever replace that, and I wouldn’t ask for anything more than to be held in your strong arms and kissed by your soft lips.

I can’t wait to constantly move forward with you, every step of the way; no matter how difficult life can get.
