A: So Delany's hasn't always been a traitor by her very nature, but she's never been disillusioned by the Dogma of Super Earth. In her mind all the patriotic rhetoric is kind of cringe. Stupid rules and attitudes that made her a lot smarter than everyone else around her. Naturally, she's resistant to authority when she knows she can do it better, or at least when she thinks she knows how to do things better.

That's often gotten her in a lot of hot weather with Super Earth local law enforcement, and, if it wasn't for her grandfathers war hero status and her own notable gifts, would have lead her to some very irreversible situations after tussling with the law.

Even in the comic we go over her constant dissidence against Cerberus and the Truth enforcers for her own self interest (Diego) even at the cost of those closer to her (Rose's legs).
