theladykillerr replied to your post: Didn’t we have a cat at some point?
Oh God. Didn’t you turn in the house?
Yeah but…but you guys took it with you, right? RIGHT? I-I didn’t…the-the wolf didn’t! Did it?Â
No. Of course not. I think it just ran off… because you scared it?
I think I’m going to be sick. If it did…that means my human stomach might have had kitten in it. I digested cat. I need a drink.Â
I'm sure she climbed out the window and ran off. She-- Wait was it a she or he? Anyway, it was an alley cat. They know when to flee.

I have a fucking problem.
Fucking Josh that is.
…
Cute.
I’ll stop being cute when you stop being such an asshole
I wasn't being an asshole, Rebecca. I was making an observation. Stop trying to make everything into a fight.

I think you might be the only one at home. Enjoy the quiet while it lasts.
Is this your way of saying you’re going to be loud when you finally come in?
I won’t be. But Rebecca might be. There’s a strong possibility the tequila bottle is the first thing she’s going for when we get back.Â
I beginning to think she might have a drinking problem. I mean, other than the blood..

It's so quiet.
It’s never quiet here.
Sometimes quiet can be nice… On occasion, rarely.
It’s just a little strange. There’s usually something going on. It’s been kinda calm the last few days. Not that I’m complaining.
The calm before the storm you think? [Amy asked jokingly.]
I hope not, but knowing my luck... probably.

I suppose this is where I say I'm "never drinking again" but seeing as I didn't actually drink, I guess it doesn't apply here.

Aidan stayed on the floor for a long time, groaning softly with his cheek pressed against the cold tile. It wasn’t entirely uncomfortable if he ignored the throbbing in his face from hitting it so hard against the floor. It was too long before he heard feet frantically making their way down the stairs and when he peered up from his spot on the floor, it barely registered that Josh was covering his mouth to keep from laughing. “M’alright.” He muttered against the floor before he pushed himself up into a sitting position, shoulders slumping when his eyes focused on the shattered mug across the room from him. “I broke your favorite cup.” He said with a frown, peering up at his best friend before he took his head and stood with another deep groan.Â
Glancing over at the mess that was his green ceramic mug, the thought suddenly occurred to Josh that his best friend was about to fill it with blood. The mug that he had coffee in each morning. He tried to convince himself it was just a drunk choice and that it wasn’t a normal occurrence. “Well, better to have loved a mug and lost one than never to have loved at all?” Smirking at his own joke, he pointed to a kitchen chair. “Sit. Now. No more touching things.” Grabbing a mug from the shelf that he knew was Aidan’s he set it extra carefully on the counter.
Digging in the fridge, he slowly pulled out a blood bag. He’d never made one of these for the vampire before, and he wasn’t even sure how to break into the thing without getting it everywhere. If he got human blood all over him he would probably be sick everywhere and then no one would get to enjoy a meal. Reaching for the kitchen shears in the knife block, his hand shook as he snipped the corner of the bag and carefully poured the blood into the mug. Replacing the half used bag in the same fashion the other two did, he popped the mug into the microwave, breathing a sigh of relief. “How did you fall anyways?”
Aidan moved towards the table obediently, pulling out his chair before he sat down and ran a hand over his face. It didn't really hurt, not like it would if he were human, but the shame of falling flat on his face and having to get Josh to make him some blood when he obviously couldn't was worse than any injury he could receive. "Stop treating me like a child." He grumbled in a low voice, chipper attitude from before gone as his demeanor took a turn for the worst. He was upset now, his emotions working in overdrive thanks to his inebriated state, all over a shattered mug and Josh treating him like he was completely useless. Because he was like this. He couldn't even manage to walk properly. "I tripped... over my own feet." He said, shame dripping from his voice before he let out a soft noise and pitched forward, arms moving up to cross on the table before he buried his head in them.

Aidan frowned as Josh shot up from his seat but didn’t make his way towards the kitchen. He wanted company, these horrible vampire movies just weren’t doing it for him but apparently Josh had other plans. Pouting slightly, he watched his best friend head up towards his room before trudging into the kitchen for more blood. If he couldn’t bother Josh than he’d settle for drinking more, though the bagged stuff really didn’t do anything to help along the gorged out, drunk feeling that drinking live did. Heading over towards the cabinets, Aidan threw one open before grabbing a cup. As he turned back towards the fridge though, his feet got tangled and he found himself pitching forward. Shooting his hands out at the last minute, he accidentally sent the mug shooting across the room, causing it to shatter against the wall as he slapped face first against the tile with a resounding smack. “Ugh..”
Josh was just starting to enjoy the warmth of the shower when the house resonated with a large thud. The kind of large thud that happens when either the full weight of a vampire or a piece of machinery hits the ground. “Aidan?” Silence. “AIDAN?” Cursing, he scrambled out of the shower, trying not to fall too. He ran a quick towel over himself as he pulled on track pants. Hopping around the hallway he managed to shimmy his damp body into the pants, heading straight for the stairs. Leaping down two steps at a time, Josh hustled into the kitchen, screeching to a halt on the linoleum. He had to clamp his hand, still holding a slightly soggy t-shirt, over his mouth to keep from laughing. Clearing his throat a few times, he tried to keep his face emotionless. “I’ll make the blood, okay?” He held out his hand to help the vampire up. “You alright?”Â

Aidan’s jaw went slack as Josh’s back bowed and his hand shot up to grab at him. It was even better than the last one, causing the vampire’s mouth to go dry as he watched with wide eyes. He wanted to do it again, over and over again actually. He didn’t want to stop but there was a nagging in the back of his mind, something telling him that wouldn’t be good for Josh at all and that maybe he should actually listen to the werewolf, even though the alternative sounded more fun. Reaching up, Aidan ran his fingers through Josh’s messy hair before he pulled himself away and stood up on still quaky legs. “Did you say something about food? Because if I’m not allowed to do this anymore, I think I’m going to need some more…”Â
“Huh? Did I say what? Who are you? Where am I?” Josh managed to tease, despite how his eyelids were drooping shut. Shaking his head around, he reminded himself of why he’d made the trek down in the first place. For sandwiches…though sandwiches would definitely have to wait until after a wash. Managing to shove himself into standing position, he tried to ignore the disgusting feeling each time he moved. “You go ahead and eat. I’ve gotta change…everything.” Leaving Aidan with a nervous smile, he bolted back up the stairs to try and take a quick shower and get rid of the nasty sticky feeling. Turning around suddenly, he called down the stairs. “If you can’t get the microwave to work, just wait!” There was no telling what havoc a blood wasted Aidan might cause to an uncooperative piece of kitchen equipment. Turning back around, Josh hurried to get a quick 2 minute shower in. Â
