Eugene had a light smile on his face, not because he was feeling particularly happy, but because he felt like Kimmy needed to see it. She was so obviously anxious today, and Flynn knew Ron wasn’t around this time. He was angry at Ron, even though he didn’t really have a right to be, even though he’d only talked to the boy maybe once. She was sad because of him, and that made Ron not okay in Flynn’s books for the moment.

His smile became a bit brighter at her words, trying to convey any comfort he could. She always had the literal weight of the world on her shoulders, and he wanted to remove as much of it as he could. He reached out his hand and took hers, enveloping it. “No problem, Kimmy,” he replied, walking closer to her.

Kim appreciated his hand and squeezed it. It was something she needed. The redhead needed to be grounded before her anxiety got the best of her. Possible was just getting so frustrated with herself because she knew she could do better. She knew she could be better than she was being. In fact, she had been. It was a cycle of her constantly needing to better herself that before seemed to be a motivator. But now, in this moment, it was all too much.

Looking over at Flynn, she appreciated his easy going-ness, and sense of calm.Kim looked away then took a deep breath. For once in her life, she wasn't paying attention to where she was exactly, and asked, "How close are we? To the Room of Requirement. I've not been paying attention."

It was just one of those days. And even though she was Kim Possible, she still had them like everyone else. Not only had she not slept in a day or two (or more than that?), but she was anxious. Kim kept her anxiety under wraps, not wanting to let anyone know about it, but of course Flynn did. Eugene knew more about her than she liked but she accepted it.

But today, when she really needed her best friend Ron and he wasn't there...it hit her.This was a fact that started to make her increasingly more saddened but she had to be thankful that Eugene was there. He always seemed to be. "Thank you." She whispered to him, then looked up giving him an appreciative smile.
