As his empire grows so does the risk of being discovered – for Kennedy Mitchell was born Ivan Mazur and there are those that want Ivan to pay for his crimes and not just with his money or even his life. Set the year is 2020, the town of Blackpool is all kinds of corrupt. Right from the back alleys to the narrow basements of their churches, from the courtyards of their secondary schools, even in the insides of seemingly honest businesses, crime seemed to have tainted them all. Petty thefts, drug abuse and dirty sex are synonyms to the lives of the crooked here but it doesn’t mean darker, more monstrous crimes are not being committed in this town. Known for gruesome murders which have been left unsolved throughout the years, Blackpool’s reputation is certainly not for the faint-hearted.

And if there is darkness, there is light too no matter how dim. Within the corrupt police department, there are honest officers who still believe in protecting the innocent. There are still kind-hearted souls who believe in justice and the goodness of the world. But would that be enough for them? Or will they succumb to the darker side? Nothing is for sure in this town.
