anecdote that illustrates my attitude toward physical objects.
i was at a concert recently, my favorite band was playing. at the end, my favorite musician in the band threw a guitar pick into the crowd. i watched impassively as it curved through the air, bounced off my face, and was picked up off the ground by another concertgoer.
i already have guitar picks, i don't need another one
