this is so stupid but it lowkey has started to bother me that people still make those “ambessa was so good at manipulation/ using caitlyn as a scapegoat that people watching hate caitlyn for things she didn’t even do” because a lot of the things people come out with is just so alarmingly media illiterate
like these people are missing things people who watched arcane with a phone infront of their face wouldn’t even miss
like i saw a post being like “caitlyn didn’t hate all zaunites, what’s this then?” (or smth along those lines) with the scene where rictus is beating up that zaunite with the mohawk and people are rightfully calling it out and making fun of the person by like editing caitlyn onto rictus’ face but it also brought back up that joke about ambessa
and that just rubs me the wrong way because it’s so explicitly shown that caitlyn has no clue about the things ambessa is doing behind the scenes, like so little thinking has to be done to understand that and people are making jokes but it’s actually so alarming that people can’t understand that?
