Pairing: Faze Adapt x Streamer! Reader

Summary: You and Adapt bond over your shared interest in collecting figures while your at Camp Peak.

A/N: There should be nothing to have a warning about but if so let me know! This is my first time posting a fic and I admit this is a bit shit.

Even though you were eternally grateful for QT inviting you to Camp Peak, you were admittedly a bit wary for the coming weekend.

Largely due to some of the fellow streamers who were going to be there.

More specifically, the Faze Boys.

Some of their clips would occasionally pop up on your TikTok for you page. The loud and chaotic nature of their streams put you off a bit, and not to mention their fanbase. Most of their clips consisted of them partying or yelling at each-other while gaming.

You had seen some Adapt clips of him either with a bunch of girls or drinking. You would scoff when the clips would come up, but admittedly you found him very attractive. He was fit and beautifully covered in tattoos. Though his eyes were dark, they were kind and he had a dorky smile.

“Douchebag”, you muttered to yourself as you stalked his instagram for the hundredth time.

However, during these past couple days, you’ve grown to really enjoy his company. You couldn’t say the same for Jason.

Alex was pretty chill off stream, he spoke softly and liked to make conversation with everyone. His genuine interest in learning new things and making new friends was kind of cute to you. It sort of changed the whole ‘douche bag’ image you had of him.

The two of you got to know each other during the first challenge, in which the both of you were in the same team. After that, small chit chats between the two of you were common. Though you both streamed very different things, the two of you surprisingly shared a lot in common.

During one of your conversations, you learned that you both enjoyed collecting things. Granted he liked DC comic figurines with weapons and blood, while you liked Calico Critters and cute trinkets. He sat next to you at the dining table as you ate breakfast. He had his phone out, showing you various figurines.

“Who is that?” you asked with raised eyebrows at the gorey figure before you.

“It’s The Batman Who Laughs, he’s one of my favourites. He’s from a comic where batman became evil from the Joker toxin,” he explained as you nodded along as if you had any clue on what he was on about. Not wanting the conversation to end, you opened your camera roll to find a picture of your collection to show him. You decided to show him a picture of your collection setup, complete with a bunch of cutely dressed animal figures with pink castles and baby blue cottages.

“These are my Calico Critters,” you said as you handed your phone to him. His eyebrows rose in curiosity and a bit of confusion.

“Oh my god, you have so many,” he said with a chuckle. You ears go red with embarrassment and you felt your face get warm. He switched his glance from your phone to you, noticing the change in your features. “They are low-key tough though. I bet you spent a lot of money on them,” he continued quickly as to not make you feel embarrassed. You nodded sheepishly and smiled. “I hope one day I can have as big of a collection, these DC figures cost a check though,” he continued with a dorky smile.

Conversations with him came so easy. He was nothing like the persona he gave off on stream. He was genuine, caring, and a bit nerdy. You both found each other waking up a bit earlier to have more time to chat before the morning chaos before stream. Or at night, you would spend time at the kitchen island talking about random topics. Sometimes Arky or Blair would join.

But at the end, it was always you two.

It was the last day before everyone would fly back home. Blair had took you all to a nearby amusement park.

You, Blair, and Lily went on nearly all of the rides, your ear drums nearly ruptured from QT’s screams. You were having a blast and loved hanging out with them, nevertheless, you couldn’t help but miss Alex’s company. He had run off with Jason, Arky, and Ludwig earlier.

You saw him once while you were in line for a rollercoaster, Jason clutching him and screaming while the coaster dropped down.

After a while, everyone started to pack up. Some people decided to head to the shop next to the park for a bit. You were too pooped from the roller coasters, so you along with a few others headed to the vans early.

After a while, everyone else got on the van and you all set off back to the cabins. Your tired eyes looked out the window, looking at the beautiful landscape all around you. You were so thankful for this trip and opportunity. Leaning your head against the glass you began to fall asleep, silently praying you wouldn’t snore.

Though you didn’t snore, someone did notice you sleeping. Adapt was in the seat behind you. He smiled softly as he played with the little paper bag in his hand.

After you all got back to the cabins, in your tired state you still managed to talk to others for a bit. You were mostly saying goodbyes incase you didn’t see them in the morning. You couldn’t find Adapt anywhere though, which made you frown.

Around midnight, everyone who was still awake began heading upstairs to their rooms. You stumbled upstairs to your room, so tired all you wanted to do was fall into your bed and sleep. However, infront of your door you saw a little brown baggie. You picked it up and opened it.

Inside was a note and another little bag. The note read,

‘Saw this in the store and thought of you. Glad we got to meet and get to know each-other.

You smiled softly and felt your stomach do mini somersaults. You turned your attention to the other small bag. Your smile only grew as you felt the colourful plastic bag in your hand. It was a Calico Critters blind bag.

‘What a dork,’ you thought to yourself as your heart swelled. Opening the blind bag, you ended up with a little brown otter wearing a sailor outfit. So cute, you thought to yourself.

You were still smiling as you got ready for bed and put the little otter into your carry on. While moving the otter you noticed there was something written on the back of the note.

Holding it closer, it read,

‘I liked talking to you, and would love if we continued:)’ alongside his phone number.

IMPORTANT NOTE!!: This is just a tutorial for Windows. I believe this is no longer able to be done on Mac since apple has gotten rid of itunes. I might be wrong though!

Adding music to an iPod might seem a bit confusing, if you found your old iPod or just bought a used one, it’s really a piece of cake!

Step 1: The first step is picking out the song you want to add to your ipod. I find my songs on youtube! Copy the link to whatever song you picked out. (Hit share and copy link in the video description)

Step 2: Now, you want to grab the link and place it into a link-> Mp3 converter. This is a crucial step because if you don’t do this you won’t be able to upload anything to itunes. Sites such as Okmusi and Cobalt work great.

Step 3: This step isn’t entirely necessary but I recommend creating a folder to store these mp3 files in your files app just to make later steps easier. I named my folder music so I know where to find the files.

Step 4: Now that you have this mp3 file for whatever song you have chosen. You need to download itunes. This is a easy step, just go on your browser and go to the itunes website and follow the steps to download. You will need to set up an account but this takes two seconds to do so don’t worry.

Step 5: Now that you have downloaded itunes, you need to add your ipod to the devices tab. This step is also quite easy. All you have to do is plug in your ipod to your computer or laptop. To do this you have to use the cable your ipod came with (the same one you use to charge it). Then if you go to the devices tab under “file” your ipod should show right up! This is because of the sync you have made with the cable. As long as you have the ipod plugged in and the itunes app opened, you will see a large section named “ipod” on the left side of your screen.

Step 6: Alrighty! Now you are ready to add your music, finally I know. So what you have to do now is go back to the file tab but this time hit “add to folder” and it will prompt you to choose out of your files, this is where you’re gonna pick the folder you made from the earlier steps. This will add these music files into your unties library.

* you may notice that these new songs in your library have no cover or artist name, this is completely normal. you will need to complete this yourself, though it’s not nescarry for the music to work, it does make it look better on the iPod. You can download the album art online and upload it on the song. you can also type in the artist, song name, and album name manually.

Step 7: Don’t worry we’re almost there! Now what you are going to do is take these new songs in your library and drag them into your iPod(the section on the left side of the screen I mentioned before).

Step 8: MUSIC! To check that you properly uploaded your music to the iPod is by ejecting (remember ejecting your iPod is very important, please don’t just rip the cable out when you’re done. that will cause major damage to your iPod.) You should have your new music on your iPod available.
