The Invisible Badger

As soon as Esme was taken to the hospital wing, she appeared to faint, falling onto a nearby bed.

After the colorful dust filled the air of the coffee Esme passed out on the table, along with a few other adults whom worked there, and older students on dates. Delia started to panic slightly at the sight of her date falling flat on her face. “P-professor N-Newman I think we’re gonna need your help.” she said and ten went over and checked the Hufflepuff’s pulse and following what ever orders the older woman would give her and the other students present.

Fortunately Gemma was fast enough to catch Esme’s body before her head hit the floor. She looked at Tristan that was ran over to her and immediately approached her with his jacket and carrying Gemma’s bag. She saw a red and blue powder spots in her forehead, the girl’s hair and clothes. “Tristan, could you please get me a handkerchief from my bag?” She said to the man who is now sitting on the floor right next to them. “Okay, wait a minute .. this is it,” said Tristan after he discovered her dragon-patterned handkerchief and carefully Gemma rubbed the powder with it. Why is this powder feels weird? She thought with a puzzled look because if this is a powder that comes from any makeup or anything the Muggle called, why the powder was all over her body?

The hufflepuff girl simply sat back in her hospital bed, looking at the both of them as though they were crazy. She yelped once Delia had grabbed her and started shaking her shoulders, "Hey! Get off of me!" she said with almost a pout, "It's kind of rude to shake someone after they took a nap... particularly if it's to flirt with me." She crossed her arms, glancing between her professor and her lover every time either of them spoke. She tried once or twice to break into the conversation, raising her hand with a polite mutter, "Erm, excuse me, guys? I think there's been a mistake..." Though she was too quiet to be heard in between their conversations. She simply sighed and laid back in her bed.

As Esme took a small sip of her own herbal tea as Delia started to show concern for her, “Oh, yeah, don’t worry about it. I’m just a little nervous…besides, it’s only a headache so it can’t be anything too bad.” She said with a small smile, continuing to sip her tea while the two flirted with one another.

The young woman looked back to the red-headed professor and then gave her a small wave. “Hello Professor Newman.” she said before then turning back to her date with a worried smile. “Alright then, tell me if you feel sick alright?” the girl then would sip her tea and then smiled. “Wow, this is really good, I see why the British have tea time now.” she mused and then put her cup back down for a moment.

She swore by all the Gods, she heard a blast out there. Maybe some people will not realized it because the sound is very faint and it sounded like someone opened a bottle of champagne, but Gemma believes it was an explosion. Occasionally she glanced towards the table which she and Tristan shared. She saw Tristan send outlook asks if there is a problem and she just shrugged her shoulders, she didn’t know. Maybe if Briella was here now, she can ask her sister about what happened to her. Although she didn’t learn about the Mediwitch thing, Gemma can know that there is something wrong happened to her.

Esme was brushing through her hair again, her heart racing as she tried to think of how to present herself. She had never been on a date before, let alone gone to a serious event before. Should she dress up or just be casual? She figured it would probably be better to under dress than overdress, and knowing that Delia was usually a pretty relaxed person. 

Delia looked up at Esme and would smile happily, “I’m doing fine, I mean you actually showed up.” she said going over, and taking Esme’s hand and kissing her cheek. The two girls got a few looks around the library but the pair didn’t seem to mind all that much. Delia then took her over to the cash and then paid for her book “I was thinking we could go have some good tea together. If we can find a spot that is.” she said and then dragged the hufflepuff out of the building and over to the hot date spot in town.

A waitress brought two cups of tea to the table that occupied by Gemma and Tristan, “Thank you, Greta,” Gemma said, smiling toward her. She noticed that Tristan immediately took the cup of milk and sugar and mix the ingredients directly into his Earl Grey tea. She just shook her head because Tristan was never changed. Over the years of their friendship, Tristan remains the same if its about their afternoon tea time. “Oh Tristan, you never told me why you’re here,” Gemma said as she sipped her Earl Grey and smiled at her childhood friend. “I…actually I had a lot of things that I want to do while visiting here and looking around the Hogwarts became my priority,” he said, smiling mischievously and Gemma can only smile at him with a frown on her face,” I lied, Gem. Of course I want to see you: you remember the last time we met? That was two years ago, Gem,” she added with a smile.

First Date's Never go as planed... || Delia, Esme & Gemma

"You better hurry, Gem. We do not have much time,"

Esme was brushing through her hair again, her heart racing as she tried to think of how to present herself. She had never been on a date before, let alone gone to a serious event before. Should she dress up or just be casual? She figured it would probably be better to under dress than overdress, and knowing that Delia was usually a pretty relaxed person.  She decided to just put on a loose fitting jacket with her usual knit cap and jeans with sneakers. She did at least put alot of effort into how she would act though, trying to think of various ways to respond to the slytherin girl or things to do to enlighten the mood.

The girl would shake her head as they walked “You don’t know that, I am actually quite boring Esme…” said the slytherin as the two of them walked together up the small hill, tripping ever so slightly as they waked. “I mean most of my day I just talk to paintings and creep random people…”

She burst out chuckling, still leaning against the Slytherin while she spoke, "You creeping on people and being boring~? Nah, you don't know creeping." She said with a proud grin, "I know creeping~ Like how I do with you sometimes." She said, continuing to wobble while she leaned on the slytherin girl.

The slytherin would laugh, telling the waitress that they were good on drinks for the evening, she didn’t want to have them both drunk out of their minds. “Come on sweet pea let’s get you back to the castle before morning shale we?” So Delia took Esme’s hand and then would guide the older girl out of the Inn and on the path towards their school.
