This is so wholesome! And I love that the release of Project Hail Mary and the timing of the Artemis II launch crossed so we can get content like this. It's a great time to be a space fan!

Started writing a PWP and ended up with a bunch of plot so far.
This has now turned into two chapters so my PWP idea is gone and now its plot and sex.
Artemis II Core Stage Separation
For All Mankind "The Hard Six" Lander Chase
I loved this scene. It reminded me of the LSAM on the moon, but also who doesn’t love a high speed Mars chase.

Seasons One & Two were the absolute best 🚀
Me giving a season 4 recap explaining the injustices Margo has suffered.
Me commenting through season 5 episode 1 about the injustices Margo is currently having to suffer through.
Me commenting after Season 5 Episode 2 that Margo wasn’t in episode 2. Adding this to the list of injustices Margo is currently having to suffer through (as well as me.)
Okay, the hoppers are way too cute to be used in high speed chases. Even with marines hanging off one in the moon it still looks like a cute bug.
A MARGOLESS EPISODE!?
A little Artemis mission watching before For All Mankind tonight. They completed the TLI (translunar injection) burn.
One thing I love hearing is all of the female voices on these streams. I’ve listened to my fair share of Apollo recordings, but it’s so cool to hear women in Launch Control, Mission Control, and of course on Orion.

I’m not sure I can fully express how I feel about watching the Artemis II launch and knowing that, at this very moment, we have astronauts on their way to the moon.
The excitement I felt leading up to and during the launch was intense. This is such a huge moment in history. Not only are we returning to the moon for the first time in over 50 years, but we finally have a woman astronaut going to the moon as well. This is an achievement for humanity to continue space exploration, and it is also a significant achievement for women.
It wasn’t until 1968, during Apollo 8, that engineer Poppy Northcutt became the first woman in Mission Control, even though women had been doing incredible work at NASA before then, such as Katherine Johnson. There wasn’t a female astronaut until Sally Ride in 1983 on STS-7.
And now, finally, in 2026, we have Christina Koch going to the moon and Charlie Blackwell-Thompson serving as the first female launch director.
I’m beyond thrilled that this mission is happening. It is important not just for women, but for the continuation of deep space exploration.
WE’RE GOING TO THE MOON! Artemis II is scheduled to launch at 6:42pm EDT today (weather pending).
