THE INNER DIARY, a personal narrative comic The main idea of this is retelling silly, stupid and serious misadventures and tales of six “inner selves”. Three selves representing certain life stages, (6, 11, and 14), and three selves representing important events and people in the first three inner selves. This is a retelling of my life, however certain people names, identities, places, and events will be modified to not only simplify my story and experiences, but to also protect and respect the privacy of these REAL PEOPLE. (Last thing i want is to unintentionally dox myself and other people ! :[)
This will mostly be the blog where eps of the inner diary will be posted (comic form, animation would be limited to introductions and short stories)! This will be a storytime comic inspired by PetPyves and their “(The) Persona(l) Project”, Raina Telgemeier’s personal narrative graphic novels, and Maria Scrivan’s graphic novels! (With a little bit of Dork Diaries elements sprinkled in! :])
But before we get into my narrative, you probably have some questions about the inner selves and me, so I’ll be opening up a QNA for the inner selves!
