Ryoutaro stared at him for a moment. The way he says humans…. It’s like he’s not one. He shook his head, clearing the thought from it as he focused on the other. His eyes widened, and his mouth hung open for a second before he stammered out, “Am- am I alright? What about you? I’m not the one covered in blood. Are you okay?”

Tsuki let his head rest against the wall and closed his eyes. “Working on that…” he grumbled, clearly unhappy with his situation. “Sometimes it has perks. I’ll be fine…” Next was getting up, which didn’t seem possible at this time, leaving him at the mercy of this random human.

Ryoutaro was doing his best to stay calm, but this… Person? They had to be a person, right? Not necessarily human, but a person. Anyway, this person was confusing and worrying him. “Getting stabbed… sometimes has its perks? H-how?” He flopped back to lean against the base of the area that had Sakurai’s telescope. “Never mind. Forget it.” He ran a hand through his hair, and looked over at the other. “I’m Nogami Ryoutaro, by the way. Who are you?”

"Well-" Before Ryoutaro was able to get out the fact that he hadn’t meant exactly that, the other man began speaking. "Um, I’m… sorry to hear that." He blinked as his entire demeanor changed. "Ah, I see…" He stood there sort of awkwardly, unsure of what to say. "Um, my name is Nogami Ryoutaro, by the way. What’s yours?"

He shook his head when he heard the younger apologize. “I´m Nakadai Mikoto.” The smile was gone again, though he didn´t seem to be mad or bothered about his own little outburst.

Ryoutaro held out his hand. “It’s nice to meet you, Nakadai-san. Would you-” He glanced over his shoulder at the entrance to the Milk Dipper. “Would you like to come in for some coffee?”

Ryoutaro sighed and looked down, fidgeting with his sleeve. “Like I said… It’s sort of complicated. Most of my family doesn’t make much sense.” He looked back at the other man, and then asked quietly, “What about you?”
