Did a casual Allura portrait shoot with my buddy, Kento! These are my edits (basically made myself more flattering and slapped a filter on it). I have never done a photoshoot with someone who's not a cosplay photographer before so it was a really interesting experience! I signed a model release and I had a makeup artist! I have a really short neck and quite shitty posture too so thanks Kento for directing me so I wouldn't look terrible!

I did a Wonder Family shoot recently with my girls word punning​ as Donna Troy and fanbingblink as Wonder Girl Cassie Sandsmark and here are the solo pics! Will post up the group photos once we're done editing them!

Also, after my friend (who is part of my Kill La Kill group) put up my Satsuki Kiryuin shot on his very popular cosplay page, I kept getting friend requests that I couldn't accept because I knew none of these people. I felt it was a shame that these people wanted to see my cosplays and get to know me but can't really, so I made a Facebook page: Audicosplays. There's nothing much on there now but I plan to be more active from now on.

So for Day 2 of Cosfest, I went as a genderbent Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear! Everything except the shorts, leg warmers and boots (which were bought) were all made by myself, including the belts and I'm pretty proud of this costume (I handstitched it). Although it was coming apart at the end of the day (didn't have time to finish it properly so I glued most of the things together), I was pretty happy with it. Also I made the sword from foam boards in 7 hours ahaha sobs.

Also thanks to Kie for the help in styling my wig!

So for day 1 of Cosfest this year, Guki and I redid our Bee and Puppycat cosplays. I got rid of the dress I used last time as I recycled an old cosplay and was not accurate and the color is wrong. I also borrowed a friend's petticoat to puff it up and changed the wig to a poofier and curlier one than the last. GOT RAINBOOOOOTS but I was so busy finishing up my costume for Day 2 that I couldn't do the umbrella on time. Would've helped with the weather though.

And last but not least, I got the Puppycat doll. He got a lot of attention and hugs, he was basically the queen of the day as I had to fight all the forces of nature to make sure he stayed clean.

So a bunch of friends and I attended a Game of Thrones-themed dinner organized by GeekCrusade at an Italian restaurant called No Menu. Cosplay was welcome so we went as Dany, Drogo, Littlefinger and Catelyn.

The event was a lot of fun! My wig looked better than the first time I cosplayed Dany, but still needs improvement. For a writeup of the dinner, go here.

Not a makeup test, more of a let's see what the dress looks like with the wig costest. 

I added more volume and curl to my old Daenerys wig by literally layering it over another wig of almost the same color. Originally I was gonna do her Dothraki outfit for an upcoming event but since my Sun and Stars will be in his wedding garb I asked a friend Ami to lend me her wedding costume (event is Tuesday, no time to make a new dress).

The venue for the birthday party was an antique toy museum so Zhirong Fu of Foxfoo Photography got some pretty fun shots of us messing around the place.

One of the few cosplays where I didn't have to wear contacts! I tweeted Natasha Allegri to ask her about Bee's eye color since the cartoon it's just black, and she came back to me with dark brown.

Planning to redo Bee for Cosfest this year, so still need to fix a few things:

My wig for Bee has not arrived, although it should have arrived on time. I did manage to get a wig for Bee, borrowed one from Bev, so phew!

Also the wig I ordered is a lighter color, will have to style it to make it poofier and curlier.

I also couldn't get the dress tailored in time for the party so I recycled the dress I used for my very first cosplay ever (I was Shinku from Rozen Maiden, the only way you can get photos of that is if you killed me and looked through my computer), so it's not exactly the right color. I will get a new dress done in the right color.

RAINBOOTS. I couldn't find white rain boots like the kind Bee wears so I just wore my Doc Marts, but I will order a pair to complete the costume.
