I recently had my 18th birthday and I feel like my being allowed to be a kpop fan now has an expiration date. Like how much longer can I just enjoy a genre of music I really like before I’m a “creepy uncle fan” who is apparently only interested in young girls looking pretty or whatever else and not just, you know, a guy who likes a genre of music?
You’re definitely not too old for Kpop if you’re 18...Most idols are around that age, but I get what this person means. I’m 22, nothing about Kpop nowadays is keeping me as a fan other than a few Kpop acts, but that’s about it.
