With competition only getting better in baseball, a mental game is a necessity to stay on top. Here's a good example of it. '
What's your thoughts? Have a good example of how you prepare mentally for a game.?

Jaeger Sports Long Toss
For this week’s post, I would like to share a video about long toss from Jaeger Sports. While watching the video, pay close attention to how Bauer and McCarney take their time working back to get to their maximum distance. Just as important, watch how they translate this long toss into throwing the ball on a line once they are working their way back in.
I hope this video was as entertaining and informative as I did. If you want to learn more about Jaeger Sports, click on the following Jaeger Sports
For this week’s blog, I want to discuss an article written by Gwen Lawrence of http://poweryogaforsports.com about how yoga creates much needed symmetry in a pitcher’s body. She begins the article by creating an analogy of how driving a misaligned car is much like a pitcher’s body lacking symmetry. No matter your role as a pitcher, attention must be paid to these parts of the body.
Elongated spine.
Open flexible shoulders.
Open chest.
Strong core
Flexible hips.
Strong supple legs
Stable ankles
Good neck rotation.
In order to achieve these results, she lists several poses to practice 1-3 times a week. To find out what poses she’s talking about, make sure to check out the full article in the following link. http://lovemyyoga.com/power-yoga-for-baseball-pitchers.html
