Rest in peace Bah
We unfortunately had to put down our cat Bah today at 2:20. It’s clear that he was tossed out because of his diabetes. He wasn’t a feral cat. He was around 7, knew how to use cat box, didn’t beg to go outside once we brought him in but he did pee everywhere in the house. So instead of tossing him outside to die we got him checked out and he was diagnosed with diabetes (which with insulin stooped pissing everywhere) and FIV which with diabetes didn’t do any good. From his ears being infected and not medicated for so long they were permanently swollen. But he was the sweetest boy. He didn’t hate the other cats but when they didn’t leave him alone he didn’t hurt them but did swot at them to move but never hit. He wasn’t aggressive. He just wanted to lay by our heads, do his chirp pur and tell us his woas from the streets.
My poor boy was just tossed out to die when he just wanted to be fed and snuggle by our heads. My poor baby.
Can you feed your babies extra tonight or give them a treat in honor of Bah? He always begged for our food like a dog and acted like we never fed him but we did. We spoiled him and did our best. Thanks everyone.
