I haven’t been that busy,lately I haven’t had much work to do. now a days it seems most people create their own nightmares.

Indeed. I can’t say I think too highly of their creativity, however.

Because it was a gift, and it was free with no strings attached? Or simply because that would be curteous. I am offended by your lack of praise.

If there were no strings attached, why should you beg for my praise? I was busy then, I am busy now, and I shall always be busy as long as there is life in this world.

"Yeah, what can I say! That’s life!" He nonchalantly shrugged. “So, unless you found a way to fix that ‘n’ I’m guessin’ by your reactions you didn’t, there’s nothin’ you can do about it! No sense, workin’ your self up over somethin’ you can’t change. So take a deep breath ‘n’ calm down."

"I will not calm down!" she snapped. “This is my job. One would just as soon tell you to disregard dreams."

"Well sweetheart, hate to break it to you, but that already happened," he answered with a hint of melancholy. “Dreams mostly make themselves, now-a-days…"

"Do they?" Atropos asked, attitude (nearly) vanishing. "I can't say I approve of the way things have been going for us, don't you agree?"
