Attempt One Hundred at trying to articulate this but the reason people feel like they can escape misogyny by focusing on male characters & m/m shipping is not because of anything inherent in the nature of female characters, but because of community norms common in male centric fandom. And those community norms are bad.

my most lukewarm take is that I don't think there should be any exemptions for vaccines, etc., beyond documented legit adverse medical shit that makes it physically impossible. like they should be free and required and nobody should be allowed to just choose to leave their child and any immunocompromised person they interact with vulnerable to potentially deadly but entirely preventable diseases and other medical conditions.

My worst and most ass cinema take is that Marvel slop movies and whatever Christopher Nolan is doing now have exactly the same audience appeal, but for different types of people. Marvel is constructed so that comic book nerds can point at the screen and go "did you know that the Schlizzler only appeared in one comic run between 1981 and 1982" and a Christopher Nolan movie is constructed so that one of the worst people you've ever met gets to point at the screen and go "did you know they did this in camera with no CGI" for four hours.
