((We settled on a knight theme for Shi's card.

As the first Card that Crumpet managed to awaken, Wands is fiercely loyal and protective of the Ghost. He not only leads attacks (wicked powerful with his staff), but he also commands respect and obedience from most of the other Cards, both as a Keeper of a Suite and also by virtue of being from the Wand Suite, which is the suite of cunning and power.

((Do you have a lot of free time and an interest in seeing this comic actually become a thing?

Everyday Ghost is currently looking for an inker and general artist. We've been reluctant to open up about the need for help, because this comic is entirely profitless and we cannot offer to pay anyone willing to help what is essentially a pet-project hobby.

Each of the Cards you discover represents elements of this world -- the things which make it real, solid. The good things, the bad things; all the things that make the Lighted worlds so desirable, and so hated, by that which lies in the Darkness.

Things you lack. Things we will grant you if your job is done well.

((To answer without spoiling too much, all I can really say is they're alternate version of your characters. Mostly what's going to be seen of them from our comic pages is just a card, without actually using the character -- I don't want to run the risk of misrepresenting someone's character or design, so for the most part the action will be taking place with cards and characters of mine and Jeanie's design, with some help from my brother.
