“Mr. Right” [theeflea]
@theeflea
There’s some days you wake up and feel like you just want to crawl back into bed and skip the day entirely. Today had been one of those days.
Azami had been in the middle of work, transitioning from location to location as he always did when the same old sound rung out and his ears, now attuned to the old song and dance heard it clear as day. ‘isnt that Izaya?’
He was so used to it by this point that he almost had half a mind to dispute the man who had the audacity to call him that. It was people like that, getting this mistaken identity cause blown up, that caused him such a problem. However when he turned to look he found the man wasn’t even looking at him but some other guy walking by. And for once Azami felt entirely silenced.
Was that the guy every one was mistaking him for? Was that who was causing him all this grief??? Not like it was his fault but from Azami’s view it kinda was.. they looked really similar.. The other being a bit older, perhaps taller too.. Thin and fit and everything Azami just.. wasnt..
His doppelganger.. did he actually want to meet them?
“… Oi!” He called out his heart feeling uneasy as he did, “Are you Orihara Izaya??”
It wasn’t strange to hear his name being mumbled or said in a hushed voice around him, it had been something the raven eventually became rather use to and paid no mind to it, but when he clearly heard someone call out such a question it was against his nature not to answer.
“Yes-- who wants to know?”
Even if he was use to his name being spoken, it was never one of questioning who he was. After all, the general population could figure who he was.
His eyes looked over the person, clearly disapproving of the ‘similarities’ the other had, he rolled his eyes. “What is this? Some sort of cosplay--” He really did need to scold Erika for this.

“I’m afraid my mother wasn’t a very good teacher.” He lied as he told that answer with the whip of sarcasm. “”Why do people automatically assume someone wants something? It seems like humans couldn’t get any greedier now a days.”
Humans?
Jeff licked her lips. The amount of people who refereed to other people as “humans” was so small, she only knew one person who did… herself. Suddenly a spark of curiosity bloomed inside of her, who was he?
“I don’t think they can” she crossed her arms in front of her chest, facing him. “Men do not follow me on a daily basis so it is only natural of me to think you need something but apparently you don’t”
“You’re a little jumpy, don’t you think?” He grinned, “You should be careful with that sort of attitude in a place like this, people might think you’re up to something or you’re hiding something.
Putting his hands into his pockets, the raven gave a huge shrug, “As for ‘following’ you, you must understand, I’m just simply trying to take an innocent walk.”
Putting his hand up to his chest, he faked a hurt expression, “You make it seem like I’m the one up to something.”

The informant had been following her for quite some time now, he wasn’t sure who she was and that’s what drove the raven the most crazy of all. Izaya didn’t even realized she noticed that was until she turned around and yelled at him. Out of sight, Izaya hid against the corner of an alleyway, though he knew he was caught, coming out he held his hands up teasingly.
“Alright, you caught me.” The informant smirked, “Took you awhile though.”
“Didn’t your mother tell you following people is not polite?” she sighed, he did not look like much of a threat right now but she couldn’t calm down just yet. Her finger ran through her blue hair as she walked towards him. “Doesn’t matter… What do you want?”

What’s a little Blackmail between friends?
Christ. This guy was crazier than he first came off to be when they met earlier. Izaya could only sit back and watch the guy laugh his ass off, trying to decided whether this guys insanity was amusing or just plain out annoying.
Irritating was the right word actually.
“Are you done...?” The informant began, clearly not looking very amused with the situation. Izaya knew his information wasn’t wrong in the least bit, but how would he be able to convince a psycho who he is. A little part of the raven on the other hand was quite pleased, perhaps he could use this guys...’mental capacity’ in a way to better his own business.
If only he could convince the guy--
Giving a light shrug, he pondered more into his thoughts, “I see you prefer the name Ratte then?” Izaya began to state, if you can’t reason with a psychotic person you can at least persuade them around.
“How would you like to play a game of a...well-- different demeanor?”
@theeflea — followed back !!
!!!
Jeff turned around, grabbing the nearest thing that could be used as a weapon. She had heard footsteps behind her for the past thirty minutes and it was driving her insane. It wasn’t the best thing to pick a fight with someone considering her little knowledge in self-defence but no one was taking advantage of her… not again.
“What do you want?!”

“I want to play games.” Rat said, smiling innocently. “So maybe you can free up your schedule? We can’t play all night though, because if I don’t take care of something, my new friend is going to wind up finding a horrible sight.”
Seeing the man wasn’t interested in his own chips, Rat decided to polish them off for him. “I was told you like one way friendships, and that you always have leverage… I wondered if it might be fun to change roles. Do you want to play Schokoladenessen? It’s one of my favorites. Do you have chocolate, mittens, a fork and a butter knife?”
“I’m not one for games...” Izaya began, still through the irritation he was smirking like he was up to something.
The raven gave a small laugh as he sat back down, but this time on the seat across from the end table. Leaning back in his seat he crossed his leg over the other, “You’ve gotten just about every fact about me right...too bad you don’t know enough to make me play anything with you...Thomas.”
What’s a little Blackmail between friends?
Rat gestured with a chip, but accidentally dropped it. Moving to pick it back up, he stepped on it by accident and frowned. “Heh, whoops. I really stepped in it, sorry mate.”
Rat brushed the crumbs under the couch, and grabbed another chip and ate it before replying. “You can’t tell me you aren’t a serial killer. I already found the proof. But don’t worry, I moved it somewhere safe, somewhere nobody will find it, unless I let them.”
Rat offered the bag of chips to Izaya. “So, what do you do around here for fun? I figured maybe you didn’t actually live here. It’s way too clean to be lived in, you know?”
Cringing at the chip being rubbed into his carpet, Izaya’s eyes glared up at Rat. The informant was scrambling his brain, trying to figure out what exactly the other had found to make him think he was a serial kill-- wait.
Not looking the least bit fazed, his eyes moved to his desk as he stood up and walked over to one of the drawers, this was going to be tiring trying to get that back. Moving back over to the couch, he stood a little pissed off, “What is it you want....?” He wasn’t going to answer anything about his ‘hobbies’ like they were just good ole’ friends catching up.
“I don’t have time to play games...”

@theeflea
“Sort of creepy, Flea.” Rat said as the Izaya entered his house. “Your girlfriend showed me in, and then I found this… thing.”
Rat was sitting on the couch, smoking his third cigarette, the other two were just laying on the table. There was no ashtray. “Why didn’t you tell me you were a serial killer? We’d have had so much to talk about!”
Rat smushed the cigarette between his fingers and set it down on the table before he moved over to Izaya’s favorite chair and spun around in it. “Pretty nice house. Selling people’s secrets must make you a lot of money.”
Standing up quickly, he accidentally knocked the chair over, and ran into the kitchen. Rummaging through the pantry, he grabbed a bag of chips. Ripping them open mid air, he landed on Izaya’s couch. “I already drank all your coffee… I thought you’d be here sooner, and I got bored.”
Rat waved Izaya over and started munch on the chips. “So you do a lot of blackmail do you? That’s pretty funny considering…”
The sickening smell of cigarette smoke filled the informant’s nose, it was disgusting. His teeth gritted when he looked and saw where the smell was coming from, he was definitely going to fire Namie for this.
Standing in the hall, he just watched the guy infiltrate his him, his sanctuary.
Slowly he was planning the murder of a stranger in his own house. “I don’t know what makes you think I’m some sort of serial killer...” He began walking further into his home, “But I can assure you I love my humans too much to ever kill anyone by my own hands...”
Sitting down on the other side of the couch, his eyes stayed fixated on Rat, “And what exactly did you find....”
Yes, he was going to kill Namie for this.

“Can’t say I’m interested in fighting anyone. I don’t intend to fight Izaya, per se, something else more permanent.” Chuckles.
“Have you sunk so low as to make empty threats?”
“Still being a no-good blackguard? No, I’d love to chop you up into many, many pieces here and now. I’d enjoy every second of it. Or burn you alive, or behead you, or torture you slowly and painfully, yes I would enjoy that very much.”
“So you should kindly depart, Mr. Informant-before you lose more than just your tongue. I don’t hold back, not anymore.” His voice is almost demonic in its tone as a sadistic glint enters his eye, a predatory look on his face. “No, not anymore. In fact, I feel like maybe I should have some fun with you here and now, that sounds like an excellent idea.” Unsheathes his blade, grinning widely.
“Why don’t you come at me? If you’re really so tough and strong, take me on. I’m no threat-I’m just weak little, innocent, pathetic, cowardly Masaomi, after all. Is something wrong? Clearly, I pose you no harm.” Chuckles in an eerie way, still grinning from ear to ear unnaturally, very calm.
Izaya showed a fake amount of fear or more so like astonishment, “Come at you? You must take me as some sort of hero or something like a fake god.” He shook his head, clearly not going to run or anything.
“Either way, what you said is true...but dont be too hard on yourself, you are just a human.”
“Can’t say I’m interested in fighting anyone. I don’t intend to fight Izaya, per se, something else more permanent.” Chuckles.
“Have you sunk so low as to make empty threats?”
Shizuo grabbed Izaya’s jacket and threw him through a wall, and into the street. “There. Now you are officially out of Ikebukuro. Don’t come back, or I’ll break your legs.”
Smashing through the wall, Izaya tumbled down the road and came to a skidding stop on his side. Shaking, the raven pulled himself off the ground. Well--
He knew when it was time to call it.
Giving the angry blond a wide grin, he waved at him, “See you tomorrow. Shizzy-chan~!”
Izaya jumped out of the way, the lamp just slightly scraping the side of the informant’s pant leg. Landing and twirling on his foot, he brought his hand up to shade his eyes from the sun.
“Wow, Shizu-chan! I’m impressed, you almost got me~!” The informant laughed taking off running again. “Looks like you’re getting to old for this, monster~!” The last word coming out more venomous than the others.
“I’m going to kill you, you fucking flea.” Shizuo threw the lamppost at Izaya and ran in to knock Izaya senseless with his own two fists.
Two punches, and a kick later and the lamppost was back in his hands, twirling around him. “One good hit, and you’ll be too broken for all the doctors in Tokyo to fix you up.”
It was like a repetitive game the two loved to play.
A swing and a miss as Izaya managed to avoid every hit from the accursed blond, a smile plastered to his face with every missed hit. All but one--
A fist managed to create contact straight into the raven’s cheek bone, sending him flying into the nearest building. Of course, this was nothing compared to being struck by a large inanimate object. Rubbing his head as he laid on the ground, Izaya blinked and looked up in a daze at the blond coming closer. This time prepared with a weapon in hand--
“Shizu-chan wouldn’t hit someone injured now would he?” A cackle came forth as Izaya stumbled to get back up, “That’d be the most monstrous thing I’d have seen.”

Jumping onto a sign and than proceeding to jump on a lamp post, Izaya grinned down at the blond. “The beast can’t even form words. It’s sad really.~”
Grabbing the lamp post, he ripped it side ways, and swung it at Izaya. “Iiiiizaaaayaaa! Get out of Ikebukuro!!”
Izaya hopped down from the lamp post as Shizuo brutally yanked it out of the cement and swung. “Careful Shizu-chan. wouldn’t want any of my precious humans being smashed down by a brute monster like you~!”
A laugh escaped his throat as he pulled out a knife tossing it in the blond’s direction, “Let me do you a favor and just put you down!”
