SB and HL are just on different levels. Different types of the same person. While I do not excuse a damn thing HL did, and also kinda prefer the comic version, either way I feel sorry for him. Which is genuinely odd for me because I hate liking a character that's done a lot if that's understandable. I view him as a disturbed child that never got to grow up and when the delusion is crumbling he knows it, but can't accept it.
