Jamaican dancehall star and Def Jam Recordings artist Masicka will release his highly anticipated third studio album, Forever Reign, on Aug. 14. Distributed by Def Jam Recordings, the 17-track project marks the latest evolution of an artist whose uncompromising lyricism, storytelling and ambition have helped establish him as one of the leading voices of his generation.

Across Forever Reign, Masicka reflects on faith, survival, ambition, success, loyalty and the sacrifices behind his journey. The album brings together the sharp lyricism and introspection that have long defined his music while showcasing an artist increasingly comfortable with the magnitude of the space he occupies.

For Masicka, the title itself is a declaration.

“Forever Reign means I’m here to stay. Yes, there’s room for everyone, but my lane is carved out, and we’re going to soak up the space, “said Masicka. “The most important thing is to stay humble and focused.”

The project features collaborations with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez, dancehall artist Kraff Gad and reggae singer Lila Iké, while production throughout the album includes contributions from longtime collaborator Mario “Dunw3ll” Dunwell, Dre Skull, Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor, Supa Dups, IzyBeats, Dready, Telz, Razzy and others.

Opening the album is “1 Psalm,” a collaboration with Marley that immediately establishes the spiritual foundation underlying Forever Reign. Masicka describes the record as both a prayer and a reminder of the importance of seeking guidance, protection and forgiveness amid life’s challenges.

“One prayer a day, if we can pray and ask God to forgive us for our sins and protect us, then we’re good,” Masicka said.

The collaboration brings together two distinctive Jamaican voices across generations, united by a message grounded in faith, perseverance and purpose.

Elsewhere, Forever Reign moves between introspection and intensity. “Oak Tree,” “Pointless,” “Shakazulu,” “Spend,” “Good,” “Slip and Slide,” “Boasty,” “Cross the Waters,” “Wicked Spell,” “It’s Not Too Late,” “AK Fire,” “Time and Palace,” “Breaking Chains” and “Parables” further expand the album’s themes and sonic range.

On “Honor Roll,” Masicka joins forces with rising dancehall artist Kraff Gad, an artist whose hunger and distinctive approach remind Masicka of his own early years.

“His style is different, and he reminds me of myself when I was coming up and hungry,” Masicka said. “All of the young youths are bad, and I respect anybody brave enough to embark on this journey. I never had any doubt he was going to shell down this record.”

Forever Reign follows Masicka’s acclaimed albums 438 and Generation of Kings, the latter marking his first full-length release following his signing with Def Jam Recordings and further expanding his international reach.

The new album arrives at a pivotal moment in Masicka’s career. One day after its release, he will take the stage at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Aug. 15 for a landmark headline performance. The arena appearance represents another major step in his continued rise and brings the world of Forever Reign to one of New York City’s most prominent stages.

 Invest Fest 2026 closed its sixth year in Atlanta with more than 31,000 attendees, its largest turnout to date, transforming the Georgia World Congress Center into a three-day epicenter for conversations around wealth, investing, entrepreneurship, ownership, artificial intelligence, politics, entertainment and culture.

Created by Earn Your Leisure co-founders Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings with Matt “The Mortgage Guy” Garland, Invest Fest has evolved far beyond the traditional financial conference model, bringing financial education into the center of culture while creating a marketplace for ideas, businesses, capital and connections. Serena Williams became the first woman to headline Invest Fest, bringing one of the weekend’s biggest conversations to the stage as the champion athlete, entrepreneur and investor spoke about the focus, sacrifice and mindset required to reach the highest level.

One of Williams’ most circulated comments from the weekend was her message that “you do have to be selfish in order to be the best,” sparking online conversation around ambition, discipline and what greatness requires.

One of the biggest stories surrounding Invest Fest began before the doors even opened.

Following Earn Your Leisure’s appearance on The Breakfast Club, where Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings publicly questioned the level of support Invest Fest had received from Atlanta despite holding the event in the city for six years, the comments ignited debate across radio, social media and local press. Mayor Andre Dickens publicly responded, creating one of the most talked-about storylines leading into the festival.

By Saturday, the conversation had moved from social media to the Invest Fest stage.

Mayor Dickens joined Earn Your Leisure in front of the Invest Fest audience, speaking about Atlanta’s importance, investment in the city and the possibility of continuing to build together moving forward, including conversations surrounding Invest Fest 2027.

Earn Your Leisure later summed up the moment with a message that captured the shift in tone: “Build Bridges not Walls.”

The moment turned what could have remained a public dispute into a larger conversation about Black entrepreneurship, city support, economic impact and what partnership between major cultural events and host cities can look like.

$250,000 GOES TO ENTREPRENEURS AS INVEST FEST PUTS CAPITAL BEHIND THE CONVERSATION

Invest Fest did more than talk about entrepreneurship, it put money behind it.

Groundwork Health and Path Intelligence were named winners of the Invest Fest Pitch Competition, with the weekend ultimately delivering $125,000 to each company with $250,000 in combined funding.

Dr. Paul Judge, Master P, La La Anthony and Angela Simmons were among the names connected to the high-energy pitch competition, bringing experienced entrepreneurial voices into the process as founders competed for transformative capital.

The competition became one of the clearest examples of Invest Fest translating conversations about access and ownership into a tangible financial opportunity for emerging businesses.

T.I. ON GENERATIONAL WEALTH: HIS BUSINESS DECISIONS HAVE SECURED HIS FAMILY FOR GENERATIONS

During Invest Fest’s inaugural VIP Black-Tie Gala, Atlanta icons T.I. and Jermaine Dupri were honored for their impact across music, business, entrepreneurship and culture.

Artificial intelligence wasn’t simply discussed at the Invest Fest it was demonstrated.

AI entrepreneur Alicia Lyttle brought robots onto the stage while showing attendees how AI agents can function as digital workers, automate business functions and create new opportunities for entrepreneurs.

Baby Boy of the genre-smashing Bay Area hip-hop collective AG Club drops his first-ever solo project, BUCK*. Out now on Epic Records, the new release is an open-hearted trip through soulful, shifting soundscapes and subtly radical personal revelations — eight gorgeous songs underpinned by a romanticism for life’s highs and also the lessons of the lows.

BUCK* is a vibrant, handcrafted mix of R&B, rap, pop, and rock that pairs Baby Boy with a core set of close-knit collaborators and multi-instrumentalists. Working primarily with producers Mikey Mu, jerod, and AG Club stalwart Saint Patrick, Baby Boy sounds like he’s leading a band from within a bedroom studio, with occasional pop-ins from fellow sonic travelers like Dilip (Skrillex, JackBoys), berg (SAILORR, ian), Hamish (Smino, Miguel), Isaac Rose, and others.

The “AVOIDANCE” music video — directed by Baby Boy and longtime AG Club collaborator Manny Madrigal — brings those themes to life. The guitar-driven song finds the artist freely releasing the kinds of feelings he struggles to share with others in real life. The visual plays on this, initially depicting Baby Boy as the only live wire in a house full of listless family members. After a pivotal moment, their roles switch, and he’s dazed while others smile and dance. While much is open to interpretation, their individual moments of expression all take place in isolation.

Thankfully, BUCK* is meant to be shared. GRAMMY-nominated trio FLO release their highly anticipated sophomore album titled Therapy At The Club via Republic Records. To celebrate, FLO have released the music video for “Cry Ugly.”   The album arrives with a new music video for “Cry Ugly.” Directed by Jake Nava (Beyoncé), Sienna Nava & Marlon Cang (Recently Deleted). FLO’s second album Therapy at the Club reimagines the club not just as a place of nightlife, but as a site of confession, release and self-possession across the emotional arc of a night out, from pre-game to morning after. Global phenomenon Stray Kids have released their highly anticipated new album, THIS & THAT, available now via JYP Entertainment / REPUBLIC Collective.   Capturing a more liberated and relaxed energy through the group’s unmistakable creative perspective, THIS & THAT finds Stray Kids continuing to expand their musical universe without compromising the fearless individuality at the heart of their artistry. Global Colombian stars Ryan Castro and Feid join forces once again for “Mentira,” their highly anticipated third official collaboration. The Medellín powerhouses return with an infectious track that pairs upbeat production with a vulnerable story about the uncertainty, mistrust and mixed signals that can complicate a relationship.

The artists first previewed “Mentira” this past weekend by surprising residents of Pedregal, the Medellín neighborhood where Ryan grew up, with an impromptu street performance that quickly became one of the most talked-about moments across social media. What began as an ordinary day in the community turned into a spontaneous celebration as Ryan and Feid appeared in the middle of the neighborhood to perform several of their biggest songs before introducing the unreleased collaboration for the first time.

With no large-scale stage or elaborate production, the artists created an intimate moment that brought them face-to-face with the community and connected the release directly to the city and culture that have shaped both of their careers. The music video also closes with a clue about the concept behind Ryan’s upcoming album, for which “Mentira” serves as the first single.

The track once again highlights the natural chemistry between Ryan and Feid, two artists whose previous collaborations have become defining records within Medellín’s global musical movement. While “Monastery” introduced their connection in 2021 and “Ritmo de Medallo” celebrated the sound and culture of their hometown in 2023, “Mentira” reveals a more upbeat yet vulnerable side of their collaborative chemistry.

The release arrives as Ryan prepares to bring his SENDÉ The Last Dance Tour across the United States and Canada this fall. The 16-date run begins September 6 in Atlantic City and will visit cities including Boston, Washington, D.C., Orlando, Tampa, San Antonio, San Jose, Denver and Las Vegas. “Mentira” will also form part of Feid’s upcoming album, El Club de las 19 Flores.

Fatt Smaxk, the Thomasville Heights rapper emerging as the breakout Atlanta artist of the year, has just shared his new single "THOMASVILLE DAYS" –– out now, alongside an accompanying music video. Named after the East Atlanta projects that raised him, “THOMASVILLE DAYS” finds Fatt Smaxk flowing over a sinister, bass-heavy beat in the melodic, punched-in cadence he’s built his name on. Boxheadand T5 produced the track, and Mahi directed the accompanying visual, which shows Smaxk counting bills and setting the tone for the neighborhoods that love him.

"THOMASVILLE DAYS" continues a run that started last October, when Fatt Smaxk released his breakthrough project Smaxk Season 2 and its instant standout "Butta B" (24M+ Streams), a tribute to a late friend that traveled from Atlanta out to the country towns, then South Carolina, then Alabama. The Kharkee-directed music video has passed 12M views and trended on YouTube. In May, Atlanta DJ Swamp Izzo and first-time collaborator Playboi Carti joined him on the "Smaxk or Die" Remix; Carti cut the verse unprompted and shot the video with him in Atlanta, his first guest appearance of 2026. Fatt Smaxk has since kept it moving with June’s "UP THE SCORE", entertaining appearances on Genius Verified where he broke down the lyrics of the aformentioned “Butta B” and 2 Chainz’s podcast with his son, Me & Halo, as well as drawing other co-signs from Lil Baby, Future, and Bunna B.

About the album, Jutes shares, "The world feels really cooked right now and it's impossible to feel everything all at once, so we just go numb and fake smiles because we're helpless. That's how I was feeling when I made this. It pulls from elements of my music when I first started singing and incorporates them with everything I've learned about my voice and songwriting since then."

Preceded by singles "Disassociate," "Icarus," "Mannequin," "goodnight (interlude) <3," “White Butterflies,” and “Blink Twice,” the album is a futuristic, post-apocalyptic meditation on numbness, survival, and the quiet collapse of feeling in an overwhelming world.

That dystopian landscape has been taking shape across the album’s music videos, where recurring characters, imagery, and narrative threads reveal a larger story with each release. In the video for "Icarus," Jutes is chased on foot in a high-speed pursuit by figures in space-suit-like gear, ending at a cottage where he finally approaches their car and pulls back the suits to reveal they're mannequins—with "Mannequin," his next single, already playing on the car radio. Those same figures then become the central characters of the "Mannequin" music video, playing out a fractured, troubled relationship between what's implied to be a husband and wife as their home and the world around it collapses by the song's end. "Blink Twice" extends that same collapsing world, following its own pair of characters as they choose to stay together inside the wreckage rather than run from it.

The album arrives alongside the cinematic video for its closing track, “Chin Up, Beautiful.” About the single, Jutes says, “This one concludes the album. The simulation is at the end. The world has collapsed and it’s saying if you don’t like what you see then don’t look at it. Keep your chin up and don’t concern yourself with the pain and suffering around you. Don’t show how much it hurts because everything is fine.”

Jutes’ North American headline run, Smile You’re On Tour, kicks off on August 11 in Phoenix, AZ at The Van Buren. Following his North American tour, Jutes will make his Australian debut as an opener for Dayseeker, with their tour kicking off in February of 2027 continuing his global momentum.
