It’s terrifying how the “irony” conveyed through shitposting can desensitize us against so many issues that are strictly black or white... It allows us to live in a grey area where even the most disgusting ideological beliefs are a “joke”

Fanboys complaining about the movie being “too political” and “annoyingly feminist” is a great reflection of how men view our experiences. Said experiences are often trivialized which makes the instances shown in Captain Marvel a perfect reflection for the struggles all women go through on daily basis. These experiences helped make Carol a more vulnerable, genuine and relatable character when received by female audiences. Kudos to everyone involved.

The fact that we still know little to nothing about the movie worries me. I’m scared for Steve and Tony but most importantly for the fans... For all we know this trailer could have fake footage (like the iw trailer) and all the “hints” and “leaks” could be completely misleading.

If we give everyone food and shelter they will most probably take less drugs and pay more taxes and do less crime, but much more importantly they will have food and shelter.

I’m sick and tired of the popularized belief that insinuates that food and shelter are “luxuries”. They are basic human needs that need be provided unconditionally to all members of our society.
