but like, re: family, what's even worse is I can absolutely 100% understand where they're coming from. they want to feel loved, they're just totally dysfunctional in how they pursue that feeling. which like. me too! but idk at least my definition of love isn't tied to control. and at least I'm working on my bs. really, what else can you do lol

family is crazy because like. I've spent the last couple years thinking 'haha isn't it crazy I was so unstable as a teen that I thought everything with these people was a zero sum game?' just to come back after years and years of therapy to realize I was 100% right back then, my memory isn't wrong, my instincts were all correct: these people do view everything as a zero sum game and yeah, just like back then, I really don't want to play!

to my moots out here writing long-form fiction: real talk, how are u keeping track of stuff?? plot, character arcs, lol really all of it. I have like wayyy too many outlines, reference sheets, summaries, etc. and ik that I'm spreading my thoughts too thin to keep track of, but like also, my memory is. bad. haha. so every time I start writing after a break (no matter how long) I feel like I need to go in and write *another* outline / summary / recap to orient myself or else I totally lose track of my thoughts!! and either way I’m very liable to forgetting details. it’s just tough :,,) ik part of this is just that writing long things is difficult and that’s unavoidable, but I’m also like, man! maybe there’s a better way! is there a better way, or...?? any help would be greatly appreciated <33
