Today is a universal 8 day. It’s a great day for work, doing good deeds, and ushering in abundance. Our oracle today is Junlajuj, the eleventh cycle. As an odd number, 11 is challenging. It encapsulated the past, present, and future. Eleven can lead to restlessness, insecurity, and indecision. It is best to tame this energy with a creative or active outlet. Turn to journaling or working with a mentor today.

Our tarot reading today came with a light warning. Ten of Swords promises us that a painful era of our lives is over. The Knight of Wands shows us charging into the next phase with passion and gusto. It’s good to be excited about life. But slow down. Charging into this next phase with reckless ambition can lead in public embarrassment or failure. At this time, the Six of Wands Reversed popped out, but I wasn’t sure which direction it wanted to be read. Immediately after, the Three of Swords (deep sorrow) flew out, confirming that Six of Wands wanted to be in reverse.

It’s a universal 7 day today. A great day for introspection, quiet study, spirituality, and speaking with elders. It is also a daily 8, which brings some energy of karma, cycles, and abundance.

In our oracle today, the energy of Oxlajuj encourages us to develop our psychic abilities. Connect with your ancestors. Meditate or divine today. Practice listening to your gut.

Our tarot today brings a serious message, but don’t worry, it’s not as bad as it looks.

The Knight of Cups refers to something or someone that we’ve suddenly gotten very passionate about. It’s taking up a lot of our mental space.

Three of Swords tells us that it’s not really working out. Not in the way that we want it to.

Nine of Pentacles Reversed says that this newfound passion isn’t yielding fruit. And that it is likely distracting us from our true goals.

It’s time to radically accept that we may be spending too much time on something that doesn’t deserve that much of our attention. The Oracle card Oxlajuj asks us to follow our inner guidance. The daily number of 7 is further confirmation that our intuition knows that this message is sound.

Our Oracle card today is Wajxaqib’, the Eighth Cycle. 8 embodies the full cycle of life. Life, death, rebirth. It encompasses all beginnings and all endings, and let’s not forget, the journeys in between. It is a doubling of 4, which is the stable foundation of the universe. Wajxaqib’ supports a strong duality and the interconnectedness of all that there is.

Our tarot reading today resonates nicely with our oracle pull. My initial thought was that one journey is coming to an end and we are transitioning to a new one with excitement and inspiration in our hearts. And I couldn’t help but notice the strong pattern of yellow and blue flipping back and forth.

We have our Queen of Wands Reversed. This generally symbolizes stagnation, burn out, restlessness, self doubt, jealousy. But here, I feel the Queen has climbed as high as she can go, and is now retiring from her journey.

Next we have The Chariot. The chariot is all about movement, action, transformation, conquering obstacles with our sheer willpower. A perfect follow up for our universal 5 day.

Page of Wands; we’re at the start of a new journey with excitement and inspiration in our hearts. But we couldn’t have gotten here without the long journey before, nor the determination to push forward. So pat yourself on the back.

I literally just closed on a house yesterday and will begin moving today, so for me, this reading was quite literal.

The way of human law is not always in alignment with how the universe works. Remember, we are souls having a material experience.

For our oracle today, we have Iq’. With our divine breath, we carry the power to manifest with our words and uplift the collective consciousness. Today is a day to express yourself. Resisting change is the cause of suffering.

For our tarot reading:

We have the Seven of Wands. This card tells us we are trying to do too much. We are standing our ground and being defensive over something, but Judgement Reversed tells us that we don’t know what it is. The King of Cups in this context is not great. He is the master of emotions and creativity, but at a cost to himself. He stays calm in the sea of chaos, but for what? It could be that we need a release of sort. We can’t always be the rock for everyone else; sometimes we need to be the ones who are kicking and screaming and slow ourselves to be held.

“Jephthah answered, ‘I and my people were engaged in a great struggle with the Ammonites, and although I called, you didn’t save me out of their hands.’”

Help isn’t always available. At the end of the day, you must be prepared to save yourself.

Today is a universal 3 day. This is a good day to be with friends, communication, and the arts.

Our oracle card today is Keb, which is the Second Cycle in Mayan cosmology. This card reminds me of holy unity and divine creation. These cannot exist without polarity. Opposite completing one another. With Keb being such a small number (2), it is vulnerable to indecision. It is important to remember that the contrast of light and shadow is what allows us to see at all.

In our tarot reading:

We have The Empress Reversed. Reversed, she’s no longer flowing naturally with abundance and nurturance. Instead, she brings burn out and creative blocks.

Why? Because of we have the Seven of Swords. We are no longer working from a place of joy and purpose, but a place of desperation. We plot and scheme to get ahead.

And now, we have the Seven of Wands. We’ve piled too many tasks on top of our plate, and we can no longer stay on top of everything.

The repeating sevens call us to slow down and look within. Figure out what really matters and what you really want to do.

Our bibliomancy is Zechariah 7:13, which is ironically today’s date, so we have good synchronicity.

Job 9 reminds us that we are small in the grand scheme of things. In the vastness of all that there is and all that there ever will be, our lives are just a blip to be snuffed out at any instant.

After today’s reading, I decided to carry my citrine and selenite with me, to place emphasis on my higher chakras and to help me see with more than just my eyes.

Overall, our daily oracle is all about seeing. The big picture, the long game, the small details. It’s about seeing with our inner self, not just with eyes. Today may be a great day to practice meditation.
