Katherine Pierce was the best Halloween costume ever!

Thank you for 8 years of an amazing tv show! So addicting and very suspenseful every episode left me wanting more and more. It was amazing watching the actors grow from the first season to the last. So sad to say goodbye but I will remember this show forever and it definitely has a place in my heart #tvdforever

Since I saw the first ad for this show when I was 11 years old I knew it would be the most amazing of Journeys. It was my first step into a new world I know this may sound cheesy, but middle school wasn’t the best time for me and having this show got me through some dark times it allowed me to branch out and make friends who were just as in love with this show as me and that was wonderful this was the first time ever I bonded with someone over something like this. Going into high school it was amazing having this show and its characters growing with me experiencing the same feelings, knowing both love, and loss. This show has forever changed my life and for that I am forever grateful. This show has brought me both sadness and joy , but one thing I can say for sure is thank you for the most amazing 8 years of life 

the day that changed the life of many fans…

this show literally means everything to me.. from the books, to the cast & crew to all 171 episodes, i literally will forever be grateful for it. i remember when me and my friends, back in 8th grade, started to fan over the show. we were literally all obsessed with it.

every episode, season, had such twists and turns that i cried, laughed, got mad at it all. i’ve never been so passionate about a show like this one… TVD was the show that started it all for many of us and i’m so happy it did.

i remember when i started to ship DELENA, FORWOOD, KLAROLINE, DALARIC… all the arguments and make ups between characters.. every single detail that has led us to this exact moment in life.

to sum this all up, THANK YOU TVD, for the tears you have brought me and all the other fans.. Thank you cast & crew for bringing this show to life. Thank you Julie and Kevin for all your hard work.. Thank you CW/WB for keeping this show for as long as y'all did… but most importantly THANK YOU L.J. SMITH!!! bc without you, this show probably wouldn’t of happened!

It’s my favorite show and I love it so bad, you can’t even imagine

One of my favorite memory was when elena told to damon that she didn’t sorry for be in love with him, or when damon said he couldn’t live without her and when he said “you are my life” to her, damn

Damon was the one of my favorite character on show, he was reckless, and selfish but elena kind have changed him, and he changed her too

This show means everything to me, I hope you know that I’m gonna start to see tvd all over again.

The damon’s goodbye was one of the moments that I cryed, Delena is my otp.

The Vampire Diaries has changed my life. It’s strange to say a show can do that but it did. I’ve fallen in love with all of these wonderful characters and I think each of them have their own unique characteristics that all come together so beautifully in the end. While the myth of vampires has never exclusively been confirmed, to me it shows embracing differences. And I think that’s an important message for the current crimes and times our world is experiencing. So thank you, TVD. For showing us to embrace our differences. For showing us love. For showing us how to survive. For showing us how to forgive. For inspiring us. For being something that can make us happy and keep us distracted when we go into our own internal battles, just like the characters on the show do. It’s been a hell of a ride, brothers and sisters. I strive for a love like Elena and Stefan. I strive for a story like each of these characters; a story that deserves to be told.

My favorite memory is when Elena first sees Stefan’s vampire face. She’s accepting every part of him. I consider this one of the best scenes of this epic love.

I am so sad to see this show end. I have been watching this show from the beginning. I loved it then, I love it now , and will love it forever. I sure hope we might see some characters visit The Originals. So SAD to see this end!!!!!!!!!

my favorite memory of TVD is visiting mystic falls!

September 10, 2009, the very first Vampire Diaries episode. The one that set the next 8 years into motion. Its been one hell of a ride, and on March 10, 2017 that ride will be over. From getting to meet heroes, villains, and survivors. From people becoming vampires, werewolves, witches, heretics, dopplegangers, travelers, and hybrids. Through all the Delena, Stelena, Klaroline, and Steroline ships, a family formed. Not just an on screen family created from grieving and love, but a family off screen, full of friendship, love, and kindness. A fandom formed as well. A fandom with the best fans. Fans that never want the show to be over, but want everyone to get a happy ending at the same time. 

It’s hard to watch a show that I fell in love with in 45 minutes end. Through everything that the characters have gone through I have felt their pain. Every time somebody died I cried for hours, in shock, wondering why the writers would do that. Realizing that because its the Vampire Diaries they would most likely come back due to some supernatural occurrence. 

The Vampire Diaries is not just a show I watch. It is a show that I worship and is the reason I want to go to college for film. I want to create shows that have as much effect on the fans as they do the characters. The Vampire Diaries created a world in which I want to exist. With its end coming I am remembering all the wonderful things that happened. From the very first episode to the very last episode, so many things have occurred. Its hard to say goodbye to a show that has changed my world forever. I will forever watch this and forever remember the actors behind the characters. The actors who were great on screen and off. 

A family has been formed, and even though the show is ending this family will stick together. I will forever remember the Vampire Diaries. Thank you too the writers, creates, actors and actresses. And thank you Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson for creating an amazing show full of live and of course death. #TVDForever

Truly the end of an era. 

I’ve never been in love with a tv-show. Well, that was before. Before I let The Vampire diaries "weasel its way into my confused newbie vampire heart" <3 

I know this show inside and out. Pick any line and I can probably tell you exactly which episode it orginated from. I feel like a 15 year old having her first crush.  I got the Salvatore daylight ring. The Elena daylight ring. The vervain necklace. Obsessed, yes!

Amazing actors, amazing stories. And how amazing it is with a crew filled with so talented, warmhearted and beautiful people. Everyone who got to be a part of that is truly fortunate. 

It is with great sadness I will watch the last episode. Its been a hell of ride. And no show will ever compete with that. And ’there’s nothing more I could ever want other than for it to last forever’.

The moment we all feared has come, the time to say gogoodbye to The Vampire Diaries. Although we feel close to you, we all love you, and the way you gave the characters traits of your own, made every single character unique. Its time to say goodbye, you will be missed, but never forgotten. Its been 8 amazing seasons, giving it your all, you have inspired many in so many differeny ways. and there are no words to say the right goodbye, its heartbreaking saying a final goodbye, I feel like words arent enough to describe how much we appreciate you all, not just the actors but the writers, the creators and everyone who works behind the cameras. Without any of you this amazing show and family wouldnt have been creater. I have laughed, I have smiled, and I have cried, but through it all TVD has made me happy when I was down. So its time to say my final goodbye, Thank You, you will be missed, and I love every single one of you.

i’ve been a fan since the day it started !! i still watch old seasons and love them the same. i can’t believe it is now coming to an end !! I will always love this show and will never forget it ♥️♥️♥️♥️ farewell to the vampire dairies ! i love everyone that been apart of the show♥️
