♛ Below the cut is a first look review for thatseventiesrp. Keep in mind my first look reviews are heavily based on aesthetics and what I think of your plot. Please like this post once you've seen it and feel free to shoot me a message if you have further inquiries.
Your URL is spot on, given the theme of your roleplay. It's referencing The Seventies Show am I correct? Either way it's short, precise and catchy. I'm a big fan of avoiding dashes, it looks cleaner and is easy dealing with tags so no complaints here.
I also like your icon. It's vibrant and colourful and the font still manages to stand out. You haven't tried to cram too much into a 64x64 image so kudos.
Hovering over your icon, I'm not a huge fan of your header or font of your title.
The header clashes a bit with the theme of the icon. Perhaps a black and white version of the same image in your icon? My impression of the roleplay so far has been that it's light but your header seems a bit dark to me and almost slipping into the crime genre? It's a tad creepy. I could easily be missing a reference however. The title's font isn't something I'm a fan of.
iii. Ziglets (my personal favourite for your roleplay) →
I've also got a sneak peek at your character graphics and even tiny they look gorgeous!
My instant reaction to going to your main was we have the same theme! I really love header themes for roleplay mains and neat sidebars. The sidebar boxes are being put to good use though you could even add an Application Count box or a recent updates/upcoming events box.
The title font is gorgeous and looks really well! The lyrics/paragraph underneath are near impossible to read, however. I had to zoom in a few times but I'm guessing it's simply for aesthetics? I like that your music player is optional because it's one of my biggest peeves.
I love your colour scheme! Pretty and clean. Maybe incorporate more of the teal colour into your Navigation however? Like maybe the colour of the font of a link when you however over it? Something subtle that ties it in. Just a little extra detail.
Your plot is simple, sets the scene and is yet original. It's a breath of fresh air and something I love to see in OC/skeleton roleplays -- it's open to interpretation! This is clearly a great place to develop your character!
One thing was just a little spelling mistake which is pretty easy to overlook so don't worry! Just edit this to 'still' and you've got a great plot!
Just a side note, the title is a lot smaller than the plot itself and the last line. Maybe make it a size smaller than the last line just to neaten it up.
You guys have a great Admin manner and seem lovely! This is a beautiful roleplay and I wish you guys all the best with it!
