What did you do before all of this? Anything interesting? I know not everyone thinks being a surgeon is all that exciting, but trust me, it was the best.

HUNTER: A blush goes with anything. You know I think you look beautiful in dresses and skirts but that pant suit.... it's stunning. And shows you're take charge.

HUNTER: You really, really don't have to thank me. I'll do my best to enjoy it.

Did you really just accuse me of having my own head up my ash and then follow it up immediately with a bowl of nonsense soup about you and the Build A Blonde? Who gives a fork about you or Frannie? Literally nobody. She’s most likely to be forgotten to be nominated as most likely for anything in every yearbook she’s ever been in. I don’t know what you’re trying to pull, but you’re done. Frannie: /Thank you, sweetheart. That means a lot to me./

Frannie: Hmm? What do you mean, Hunter? Is everything alright?

Frannie: Alright. I'm breathing. I'll get water now. Thank you for that, for always taking care of me.

HUNTER: You're welcome.

HUNTER: I didn't mean anything by it. Everything is alright.

Frannie: And it will be, with you by my side.

Frannie: Thank you for that reminder, Hunter. You don't know how much I needed that tonight.

Frannie: /I'm so nervous I might vomit. If I could. Is that possible? Probably./

HUNTER: Then I'll be there.

HUNTER: Yes, well it's a good reminder for both of us.

Frannie: Of course I want you there, Hunter. I just wasn't sure and didn't want to make assumptions, that's all.

Frannie: /I miss you./

HUNTER: I want tonight to be perfect for you.

HUNTER: I'm here.

Frannie: Hey. I just wanted to see if you're planning on coming tonight?

HUNTER: Of course.

Dude, you don’t gotta worry about being polite with me. If I’m saying or doing things you’re not comfortable with, I’d rather know. 

Dude. Wow. Loads of words I don’t understand but I just learnt something knew and that’s rad. What a cool name Archduke Franz Ferdinand is. In all of history, it’s always law enforcement types letting people down. Not enough security??? Shoulda been a priority if you ask me! You even know little details like a speeding car? That’s hella impressive, dude.

Again it’s a me thing, not a you thing.  It doesn’t make me uncomfortable, I just don’t want to have those kinds of discussions with people I don’t know, or rather, am not involved with in that way. 

Guys. I have a little dog . Don’t ask me what breed she us, cause I don’t know. I think I was told, but I couldn’t pay attention; she wanted all my attention. She’s sooo cute. It was love at first sight, and I’m super happy. She’s called Luna and she’s the best. Wherever Benji goes, there Luna will be. We’re a duo now.

Frannie Fabray would probably be able to tell you what kind of breed Luna is.  She’s opening a pet clinic and bakery as soon as she can. 

I didn’t think I’d actually adjust to this whole dead thing so quickly, and sure, I miss my family and I miss my career, oh God I miss surgery so much, but all in all this isn’t all that bad. I can ask Emma for whatever I want, I like my house, there’s decent enough people around. Sure, I’m avoiding whatever “soulmate” I apparently have like the plague, but if that’s my biggest worry here, I’ll forking take it. 

Well that, and the whole “fork” thing, that’s annoying.

So, like, I don’t know, quit your beaching or whatever, you’re dead, it happened, now get on with your after-life.

I get you on missing the career.  I miss the routine and the structure of my life so much.  But I’ve taken up a couple of new hobbies here and have had time to actually socialize with people so, perhaps it’s not all so bad?  

Your soulmate might not even be here yet, so you might not actually be avoiding them.  It’s annoying when you’re the one saying it, but it’s kind of funny when you hear it.  

Frannie: Thank you for that. No, I didn't.

Frannie: I'm so glad you think so, thank you Hunter. Oh, don't get me started. You'll hate me after, I don't have much of an off button once I start talking about things like that. I'd hoped it wasn't dumb. It's something I'd wanted to do while I was alive, but wasn't- Didn't ever really get the chance to. Partially, yes.

Frannie: I'm glad you think so. Oh, I've got a lot of thoughts. I'm going to take a look at the space I'm going to use for the clinic after breakfast, if you'd like to join me.

HUNTER: It is understandable.

HUNTER: I don't think I could hate you for being passionate about something you love. So please, do continue.

Frannie: Well, I've been trying to think of ways to be more useful here, to get more involved with the community. So, I had a conversation with Emma, and...I think I'm going to start up a small clinic in town. Everyone has these soul pets now, and apparently they can get minor injuries and ailments, even if they can't die. So, I figured it might be needed eventually. And, I mean, preventative care is so incredibly important, too. And I'd been thinking about doing some sort of...I don't know, pet treat bakery type...Thing. I'm sure I could find a way to combine the two.

Frannie: I'm so sorry, I'm rambling.

HUNTER: Not unimportant at all. So I'm guessing no?

HUNTER: Well, that's wonderful Frannie. And you're right, preventative care is so important. Oh? That's a good idea too. Wow, look at you go. I'm guessing this is why you didn't sleep last night?
