Ash on all the Flowers

This dahlia is a tattoo design for the lovely pheriphey, to whom I offer my most sincere apologies for the delay in posting this. 2014 wasn't the most art-oriented year for me, but I'm grateful for all the fun things I did get to do and will be posting them soon!

Ninja Star

This is a collaboration I started with my dear friend Chris a while back, I am so excited to see it finished! We each drew an outline of a mandala and traded them to be filled in, this is the outline I did filled in by her! I'll try and get some photos of the other one soon. This was a super fun project, can't wait to get it framed!

Abhasa//Reflection of Consciousness

For robbersandcowards. Originally intended as a thank-you for all the help getting everything framed and ready for the bookstore, but also for being an awesome friend overall.

This is a resurrected piece that I originally did several years ago, it's been refreshing to see my growth so clearly. The shapes in the corners are hand-cut and painted, then glued back on.

Raeb Ralop My father has been considering a tattoo for many years, so for father’s day this year I drew him this! Polar bears are his absolute favorite, and I made the footprints the first letters of mine and my siblings names. He was positively delighted to recieve this and I am so humbled to know he will be getting it tattooed on his forearm. Thanks Dad, I wouldn’t be half the person I am today without you

The Jack of Spades

And so begins my Playing Card Project. At the end of which, I'll have all the designs printed onto a limited number of actual playing card decks for purchase.

Done entirely freehand over a hand-drawn graph, filled with a fine calligraphy nib and india ink as well as some ink wash.

The Sixth Side

After a long hiatus, I am indeed posting work again! Thank you to everyone who stuck with me though my period of no motivation, it is appreciated infinitely. I have a few things I need to post, as well as some fun projects underway, so rest assured there is more to follow!

This particular piece was a trade with meathive. He sent me a print of his Mandala of Enlightenment, and I sent this back! I feel so lucky to have such generous, talented friends.

Cosmic Lotus (trade with saltdoe)

This has been a very fun, different project. I hope to do more like this in the future, with the paper frame. The frame was hand-cut with an x-acto #1 knife out of textured scrapbook paper and drawn on with a micron pen. I am so pleased to have been a part of an exchange with such a lovely woman, thank you!

Another for the show I have coming up, I think i can finally start framing them all! This one is a personal favourite, for sure. Also, please excuse the camera shadow, haha.
