Once the general of the Chariotry part of the army in the Golden Cheese Kingdom, the veiled warrior Burrata Cookie spent her life lavishly endorsing the fights and violent entertainment in the virtual world. When brought back, her first thought was to make amends with Smoked Cheese Cookie, not managing, however, when him and Her Radiance were taken away by Burning Spice’s minions. Sugar Orchid Cookie -

A sweet, kind soul that can be too sweet after a while; Sugar Orchid Cookie is, indeed, one of a kind. Giving immediate aid, Marble Fondant Cookie gave him one piece of advice, and that was to follow the will that his spirit will show him. The next day, he woke up to a singular, hand-made dessert, and a cunning advisor planting seeds of doubt in everyone’s minds; getting him banished. Yet, when hearing a certain someone’s affilitation with Dark Enchantress Cookie, he desperately tried to rejoin the ranks of the kingdom, no matter what he was given. He’s now united with the healers and the army to help the kingdom he had given up on long ago, using it as a cover to search for his long-lost friend in his long forest lookouts. Hyacinth Jasper Cookie - A gem mermaid with a gem that doesn’t glitter; Hyacinth Jasper Cookie will forever be isolated. After moving away into the new location the Gem Mermaids had chosen to live in, her lack of actual power and dull aura makes her believe the worst things about herself. Her sobs are heard every few nights, when the moonlight hits the water in a way that gives her a faint glow, almost as if taunting her. She’s been known as “The Crying Maiden”, waiting for her gem to shine, cursing everyone that hears her cries with bad luck. Is there any soul out there that will dare help her? VOICECLAIM — Lily from Glitter Force (perhaps less...cheery) RARITY — Super Epic

Pink Peppercorn Cookie (but she’s not pink cause pink is taken by the diva) - Sweet and spicy at the same time, Pink Peppercorn Cookie will always be an enigma to other followers of Burning Spice. The mural artist seems to harbor neutral feelings against the Beast, despite showing utmost respect, including some hidden meanings in the paintings of him she’s asked to manufacture. Seen as a liability by the cookies that fight for him, she has a sharp tongue that doesn’t fit her calm face, although her silent self barely puts it to use. She definitely has an ulterior motive as to why she behaves so oddly. Perhaps it has something to do with that black and purple tattoo on her wrist?

— cookies whose lives depend on the existence of the fairytales they were made from.

A witch once sprinkled pages from her favorite books in the batter that made four cookies. They would rise to be immortal, ancient demi-god like cookies, yet whose powers were limited. They were dropped on Earthbread after the Beasts were sealed, and lived lives so impactful, they became fairytales, fables, bedtime stories. Yet, a curse affected them all. When their story would become forgotten, then they’d slowly fade and crumble away. Naturally, they never struggled with it, and they lived in a paradise suiting all of their needs. Yet, there came a time where their stories were tossed aside. And, therefore, they teamed up once more and put their differences aside to be able to stay alive.

Lavender Limoncello Cookie [THE EAST] -

HER FAIRYTALE SUMMARY: A lady whose parents were juicemakers quickly advances through society and experiences life lessons, becoming the perfect role model for young girls (and sometimes boys, too!), and a popular story in the Hollyberry Kingdom.

The first one to descend to live amongst cookies, Lavender Limoncello Cookie was ready to give up immortality for the chance to truly live. She resides in the Hollyberry Kingom and took up the job of a photographer, living modestly and happily in a cottage before meeting her girlfriend, Key Lime Cookie, a lady-in-waiting. She lives the perfect life, and her story was passed around enough to keep her alive. Yet, as more stories rose and overshadowed hers, she was quickly forgotten and only muttered by some elderly person saying it to their grandchildren. Therefore, she’d left to meet back with her old friends and stop herself from crumbling; considering it was actively happening.

Groundcherry Relish Cookie [THE NORTH] - (Shapeshifter warning!! They use he, she and they!)

HER FAIRYTALE SUMMARY: There are stories of a woman beautiful and dangerous that are whispered especially in the Lower City in the Creme Republic. A shape-shifting spirit that takes the form of a beautiful, elegant woman, luring sailors and whoever else dares closer. She shows them card tricks, tells their fortunes and drains their energy to feed on it. The locals call her “L'esprit rusé”, and her story is told to discourage kids from talking to strangers. There’s multiple stories written about her tricks.

Despite their occasional arrogance and indifference, the refined Groundcherry Relish Cookie is kind and means well on the inside. He prefers his feminine form, wearing an Art Nouveau long dress and headpiece. She keeps to herself and lives in a weaving shop, carefully embroidering her designs onto textile. Their story lived on for a while, considering the dangers many children had to face, yet it was ruined when better conditions were offered to them, when everybody was civilised and had some brains in them. It was only said with a laugh by the occasional sailor or fisherman, recalling how he’d believe it when he was young. Now, quickly crumbling, she struggles to keep her calm demeanor as she puts her pride aside for a chance at survival.

Shattered Hourglass Cookie…isn’t a friendly one, I’m afraid. Yet I can tell you just as much about them as they would. They were always the more emotional and outspoken of us four, beating even dear Groundcherry Relish. They haven’t always been called that, you know. Their fable says of a Timeless Hourglass Cookie, a cookie whom nurtured the flow of time for Timekeeper Cookie only at its most tense. They’d be a balancing force, yet also a ticking counter, giving cookiekind its chance to right its wrongs before time runs out. They weren’t cruel, they were…just. It was their Volition that caught the attention of a cookie you may know as Mystic Flour Cookie. You see, they’d come to walk amongst regular cookies, bringing endings wherever they went — endings that would keep the world balanced. So they stumbled upon the Ivory Pagoda, and, due to their admiration for its owner, allowed themselves to be a helping hand for her. They were more of an advisor, a trained eye, one that saw things justly. And when Apathy started to overtake those once sacred grounds, Timeless Hourglass protested against it with much, much strength. But Mystic Flour’s conscience was barely there, and a single push was enough to make them fall and…shatter. If they weren’t immortal, then I’m sure they wouldn’t have survived. So they became…Shattered Hourglass Cookie.

Then they started wondering about the world. They thought the balance they’d fought so hard to uphold was nothing anymore, that they had been discarded and useless, and were slowly crumbling away. They were in horrible pain, and they had always hated pain. They regretted their soft heart, their kind actions. They had to blame someone. And they blamed…Lavender Limoncello.

It was a way to keep their story alive, I suppose. This was before the former moved to the Hollyberry Kingdom, obviously, as it was not a thing back then. Shattered Hourglass had sought her out and called her out on her cowardice, blamed her for not using her powers for good. For four days and five nights it’s said they fought in a battle of wits — a game of checkers. Then, when they lost, Shattered Hourglass pushed over the pieces, forming the Checkers Islands on the calmer shores of the Licorice Sea. They blamed themselves for the state of the world, swore to never trust anyone again. And we…haven’t really seen them in a while. Of course, until recently. We met up to discuss our current states…and they don’t seem to be very well.

I believe only one or two of the others apart from me would answer truthfully — if they had an answer at all. In my case, I’m in a lovely relationship. I assume you’re a trustworthy cookie that won’t leak information to elders, so I’ll also tell you it’s with my dear (and…well, superior) Clotted Cream Cookie. We’ve secretly been a thing for a while now, yet we plan on going public soon.

I…have no interest in romance, I’m afraid. Not currently, at least. I…prefer being alone, although perhaps I’ll find someone one day.

Eh, I don’t know. I haven’t thought about stuff like that in a while. I’ve had a few things going on in Her Radiance’s virtual world, yet these…dull roommates don’t offer any interest past mild friendship. [WITCH’S NOTE— Maybe? Maybe not? Don’t be afraid to speak your dim mind!]

Romantic interest? Why, I believe romance is a lovely thing, yet…I’m not sure if I’ve felt anything as such yet. Not like I know what romance feels like. Perhaps like that weird, tingling feeling I have around Passion Fruit Cookie? Maybe it’s what makes others help others, like how I always lend a helping hand to them. Oh, how silly of me. I almost sound as if I’m feeling romantic towards them! …I’m not.

Ugh, I’ve learned I cannot hide much from you askers the hard way, and I haven’t exactly tried to conceal it, yet…I have been feeling…something…romantic…towards Dark Choco Cookie, my childhood friend. It’s…not going to turn into anything, I’m well aware, yet…I can’t help but feel it.

Romance? Love! Ah, what a joyous, sweet thing! I’m afraid I can’t say I’ve got my eye on anyone, darling. But there are plenty who’ve got their eye on me! All of me! Maybe, maybe, I’ll find a time and place to settle down. But until then, there’s sewing and scaring to be done. Unless…you’re interested? Hehe, just kidding, love.

Romantic…I don’t believe I feel anything romantic towards anyone, no. When I was younger, however, I did use to have a crush on the Millennial Tree’s cookie form, though…yet, those days are in the past. I’ve got duties to fulfil, and every faerie is more or less far too young — and like a child — for me. If you’re interested in anything platonic, however, then…me and Elder Faerie were close to each other. Supported each other, kept each other company…oh, Witches, how I miss him. But I hope that the sweet breeze of romance blesses your heart, young one.

Romance!!! Yes, yes, oh, it’s going great!!! Me and my dear, beautiful, wise, fantastic Keylime Pie Cookie — did I mention beautiful? — have been going out every second or third day, and we have evening walks, and we help each other with our respective duties and worries, and oh, I love her so much! I…haven’t gotten brave enough to propose yet, though. A few friends have decided to assist in planning something grand, though. So when that happens, I’ll keep you all up to date!

Why, yes, I do sing! It’s a fantastic way of communication that I loved even before I entered the Faerie Kingdom. I play some instruments too, yet my voice has grown rougher over the centuries…nevertheless, singing and humming still are precious pastimes to me.

I can hum a tune or two — singing is…something I enjoyed when younger. Currently, I haven’t sung earnestly and passionately in a while, yet I believe I am capable of it, if the occasion presents itself.

Well! I’m doing quite fantastic myself, if I do say so! The Hollyberry Kingdom is never dull, and I’m quite happy in my current spot. My girlfriend took me out on a romantic boat trip, and that truly made me happy. I’ve been well, yes, very well. Ah, being a normal cookie is so fascinating! Y’know, I’m actually thinking of proposing to her…don’t tell her though! Hehe, I wish for it to be a little surprise…but I have no clue how to make it a special moment! I could take her on a walk, or rent a parlour, or even ask Queen Mother or anyone else inside the palace for some grand assistance! Ah, decisions, decisions…I’ve got time, though!

I’ve been meditating quite a lot. Strolling through Faeriewood, communicating with the Great Tree on occasion, accompanying and helping the faeries at events. I’m always busy, and I’ve got shreds of concern poking at my mind even when I’m alone or supposed to be relaxing. Yet, I’ve grown used to it; I don’t mind it much anymore. Elder Faerie’s death anniversary is coming up…we’ll…see how that goes. To answer your question more straightforwardly, I’ve been alright. My duty is exhausting, especially since White Lily Cookie departed, and I do wish for a break sometime. But I enjoy the faeries’ presence nonetheless.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again; something’s off about them. I’ve never been the best at psychoanalysing cookies, yet the air around them seems strange. As if they’re hiding something, or, even worse, not knowing of secrets around them at all. Simply put — I would stay away.

I didn’t get the pleasure to interact with them, but they looked…I dunno, alright, from afar? Just had some weird prop-wings, or whatever, and they did throw a couple of condescending looks towards me, but hey, who doesn’t? I dunno, they seem alright. But kinda unsettlingly so.

Well, they were alright with me. Guess I felt comfortable enough to offer them breakfast, but I s’pose I do see the others’ points of view; they had some weird air ‘round them, but who am I to judge? As long as they’re as harmless as they look, I ain’t getting involved. But if they do pose a threat…well, we shall see. But I’m not making any assumptions just yet.

Ah, yes, yes, I remember…bits. We’ve had a passing conversation, yet I believe they told me they know what it’s like to feel like you don’t fit in. I…think we might’ve been able to get along, yet…yes, there was something about them. As if they weren’t really who they said they were…

Closest with? Oh, my, that’s a hard question. I haven’t been able to form or maintain close relationships with many through my travels, and my mothers have been gone for quite a while now. Yet, I suppose…hm, yes, I suppose my closest friend I still converse with is Passion Fruit Cookie. Apart from that…huh. Wow, I…I suppose I’m not that close with many cookies. What a…strange revelation.

I’d say I’m closest with Her Radiance. It used to be Mozzarella Cookie, yet…she isn’t quite…alive just yet. But I’m grateful for all Golden Cheese Cookie has done for me; for us. And she’s a great conversationalist, despite the arrogance. Ha! Oh, don’t let her know I said that. But in all honesty, I suppose all four of them are close to me — we’re like a family. I just…need to get things fixed between me and Smoked Cheese Cookie. And when we’re all back…ah, I’ll throw away my tough warrior façade and just embrace them all!

Ever since I’ve returned to the Dark Cacao Kingdom’s Citadel, I have been more or less avoided by staff and normal cookies alike. I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with Crunchy Chip Cookie a couple more times or so when His Majesty went to Beast-Yeast and took him along, yet apart from that, I’ve been quite lonely, I must admit. Yet, throughout my entire life…only one cookie could claim the title of “closest to me”. And this time, I’ll say it outright. Dark Choco Cookie is the one I am — or, well, was — closest with. My childhood friend who more or less shaped up my life, I just hope he’s alright now. I think of him nearly every day. Perhaps…he does, too.

Oh. Simple, straightforward question. In my opinion, I’m closest to Espresso Cookie. Now, if you’ve been around for a while, you might be confused as to why I chose him over my relationship. Espresso Cookie made my life easier when I had just arrived in the Republic, helped me work my way out of the Lower City and is overall an admirable cookie with great ideas. In fact, when the Soul Jam theft occurred, I…was standing firmly by his side. It caused a conflict between me and Clotted Cream, yet…my ideals were important. I’ve rambled, apologies. My answer is Espresso Cookie.

I…I suppose White Pearl Cookie was closest to me. My sister was so kind, so beautiful…and I felt less lonely and judged around her. Now, I know my sisters don’t judge or despise me; but I simply felt a more natural and safe feeling around her. Now that she’s gone, I…have been spending some time around Frilled Jellyfish Cookie and Aquamarine Cookie, who have also been nicer to me, noticing the events of Tearcrown have…shaken me. Yet when I wonder away sometimes, I feel someone’s gaze upon me. Not stalking, perhaps…protective. Could that be her…?

…I don’t believe I have anyone close to me. I quite enjoy my loneliness, nevertheless. Yet…does he remember…? Hm. I’m alright being alone. Perhaps she’ll understand soon, and I won’t be alone anymore…

Closest to me? Oh, me, oh my, what an easy question! As well as I get along with more or less everyone, my dear, dear girlfriend is the one I’m closest with! Oh, my sweet, proper Keylime Pie Cookie; a member of the Hollyberian court, she is! We met at a ball, where I was taking pictures and her beauty mesmerised me so, I asked her to stay longer! Yes, most certainly am closest to her. In fact (keep this a secret!) I’m planning on proposing soon! Ahh, you heard nothing…;3

I am not one for connections. I have interacted with others on occasion, yet I have never really connected with cookies. Not even with the other three in my batch. I’ve talked a couple of times with Seaweed Cookie. She is a curious one, and I do enjoy learning more about curious cookies. Perhaps there are more of times long gone, yet…if I cared, I would’ve remembered.

Well! I can hardly choose one! As one of the Faerie Kingdom’s “caretakers”, so to say, considered a mother to most, I must believe I care about them all equally. Yet, I would say there are three who I am closer to. Elder Faerie Cookie, for one. A darling friend, and a lovely cookie on the inside once you see through his tough royal outside. I…was devastated when I saw what happened. I just hope…he’s in a better place now. The second is yet another heartbreak for me. Passion Fl— Fruit. Passion Fruit Cookie. They were a faerie so colorful they stood out effortlessly. And yet…they only felt sadness from this change. I felt most motherly towards them, and always tried to treat them fairly and lovingly. Yet, they chose the path of Deceit. As painful as that is…I believe they are happy now. And therefore, I shall not interfere. As for a last one, we aren’t too close, yet a certain great tree has always communicated with me ever since my creation. It’s good to know we share the same mindset, and perhaps I’ll visit him one of these days with a tea set to show my gratitude.

…I…haven’t seen a cookie in ages. There was one…one cookie, a cookie who I can hardly remember…they kept me company, whoever they were. Yet nevertheless, I shattered. How…truly sad. If I could feel, I would feel sad. I cannot name someone, witch. But there was someone. I swear, there was…someone must’ve cared.

What a curious little thing. It reminds me of the snow sparrows back in the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Except it’s, well…more…fat. And purple. Why is it purple, actually? Didn’t know…birds can do that. Passion Flower…what a bittersweet name…

They had potential, much of it, yet was blinded by their own lack of self-appreciation to acknowledge it. I…know I will never understand them fully, and the path of Deceit they have chosen only worries me more…nevertheless, I cannot fathom what happens in their head. They’ve faced many difficulties, and all I wish is for them to be happy. When they were in the Faerie Kingdom, they were…shut off and isolated. I understood that, at least — when I first arrived, I wasn’t treated so kindly. Yet, a child that stands out should use it to their advantage. I believed…they would be ambitious, they would rise as a unique and special faerie; which they were. But…hm. I suppose some butterflies are too afraid to fly, even when their wings are the most beautiful of them all.

A stillbaked dough. Desperate hands of a mother and father held the pale child as it barely showed signs of life. The Bringer of Happiness couldn’t ignore it. Couldn’t cast it away. Such a tiny being, on the verge of crumbling…she would not allow it. She promised them. She promised the already mourning parents that their child will live, yet that she probably won’t do it when they still breathe. The couple didn’t care. Foolish, yet understandable. The Bringer of Happiness held the child carefully, then laid her down. Before the parents left, she asked them what to name her. It was their child, after all. The two gave her a thankful smile, and partially named the child after her.

Sugar Orchid Cookie.

The Bringer of Happiness would read her stories, sing her lullabies as she tried to find ways to keep her alive. She casted a spell of protection, feeling as if the baby was her own child and promising that her magic will protect her forever. Then it hit her. Preservation. She sealed herself away, accumulated power strong enough to create a preserving seal of jam in which she carefully placed the stillbaked baby. She whispered comforting words and told her that she would wake up in a better world. And then…she left her. For the corruption that was taking the Bringer of Happiness over couldn’t taint this child.

But it did. The magic, the jam…the corrupted influence almost soaked into the baby dough’s brain, into her thought, giving her a single goal… to make cookiekind happy. Feeling is the root of all suffering. If all were fundamentally happy yet didn’t feel it, the world would be perfect. That is what the corruption whispers in her ear. That is what the corruption makes her do; it didn’t freeze her brain, yet it did freeze her feelings, her heart. Sugar Orchid Cookie could not feel.

But she would. When true concern met true love, the filthy hands of corruption would let go of her.

Years later. Centuries, even, the baby was kept alive by the preservation. A Vanillian couple finds her, and the two women rush her to the king, begging for her recovery. She is gently taken care of, and — due to far more advanced healing and medicine — she makes it without much effort. The women decide to raise her, believing their prayers had been answered. Sugar Orchid Cookie’s name almost echoed in their minds, in a voice as sweet as sugar. She was raised like a true lady; polite, well-behaved and sweet. But she never understood it. Never understood how to relate to others’ feelings, when she didn’t know what she was feeling. Her mothers were a gardener and a perfumer, and she quickly took up candlemaking as her thing. 

When she was seventeen, her mothers disappeared. Sugar Orchid Cookie almost felt. Almost grieved. But a much stronger thought took over. Peace for all cookies. Something that would make them proud. Sugar Orchid Cookie was going to relax them all, whether they wanted it or not; it was the best thing to do. 

Her candles were exquisite, and their scent made many take them in gladly. She was fulfilling her purpose, and travelling the world. Yet it felt wrong. It felt guilty. Physically so. She couldn’t sleep anymore. She would forget recent things.

A part of her wondered who would truly make her feel for the first time. A part of her knew this wasn’t her.

…what on Earthbread are you talking about? Dear Heavens, some of you are truly bold. Assuming you mean what you mean, I’m not…I don’t…feel anything of the sorts currently…I believe so, at least.
