Ruby suggested I take some of my recent Unika clips and put them to that funny Square Up song i've been listening to a lot.

Okay, we're going to make this coherent because i am fresh off of the broadcasts and I can finally scream about my nightfall thoughts. specifically, about Itzal and Chazira being respectively saved and unable to be.
...I don't think they were ever going to be able to save Chazira.
We know that Dakkar and Kal are equal. They’ve both passed their healing thresholds, they're both known as the greatest healers in the land. (Which I have to say: very impressive, especially given they're both pretty young men by this point). They are both powerful. They're balanced, probably received the exact same training--they trained together.
It’s not that Dakkar wasn’t enough.
It’s that Chazira was too far gone.
Itzal had done tests! Itzal had some form of practice with it in a way Chazira hadn't! Chazira wasn't prepared for the blowback, and I think there's far too high a chance that that's why she was hit as hard as she was.
It was always going to be too late from the moment they first broke down the door. It was a flip of a coin, who would go for Chazira and who would go for Itzal. That shaped both Dakkar and Kal's lives from then on in ways they probably never expected. Mobilis in mobili, no turning back. This is it. They could never change what was about to happen.
(....I think about this a lot.)
