whenever I finally realize that one of my mutuals is a sideblog and that the random user that’s been liking my posts was my mutual all along I feel like bruce willis at the end of the sixth sense

As someone who does not pay attention to lyrics in songs, I am always afraid someone who does pay attention is going to come along and see my music and be like “why are you listening to songs about kicking orphans and diverting funds from public libraries?” Like, I dunno! That’s news to me! The beat was fresh and the vibes were funky! I lose all knowledge of human language when the drum goes bop bop. I am as surprised and alarmed as you are.

Teschers who say “only 60% of this class is going to pass” ok? I guess you’re very bad at your job then? Imagine a baker would say “only 60% of my bread can be eaten” or a carpenter says “60% of my furniture can be used” well? Your job is to TEACH, your job is to give the knowledge you have to other people. Yes, some people might not pass but you should try to teach it to them in the best way possible. Your goal should be to get the people through the class, to encourage them, not to give them anxiety and fear about you, your class and your exams.

I’d describe my gender as something in between “gentleman and a scholar” and “New York street rat”
