The Silent Enigma

A simple shake of the head was all he gave her. Kang was very explicit that he would not return for sometime. He keeps his back to her, once standing tall and proud, recent events had taken a toll on the once proud king.

Medusa wanted to fight. She wanted to scream and shout and push him and hit him and she wanted him to do the same. But she wouldn’t, and she didn’t. Instead she walked away from him.

She was leaving. His entire world was falling apart and all he could do was stand there and watch as piece by piece shattered. Her name was at his lips, he wanted to beg for her and he came close to it. Even with his mouth open slightly the ground around them started to shake and rumble.

His cool blue eyes tell her that he has, she was not happy with him. As king Blackagar was forced to make sacrifices for his people and as a father even greater sacrifices for his son.

Crystal was not as good as reading him as her sister was. But after spending most of her life with him, she was able to communicate with him. “Can you blame her?” 

As much as he would like to, he couldn't disagree. Blackagar nodded, his face stoic as usual. Only breaking at the mention of Medusa.

It had been a quite awhile since he had laid eyes upon the self appointed “Princess of the Inhumans”. It was obvious that the once pround king was broken, a shadow of his former self. Blackagar gave her a nod and a quaint smile.

As much as she wanted to shout at him. Demand to know why he’d left them. Why he’d taken Ahura and left her sister. Seeing him there now, it just hurt her heart. He was still her cousin. Still her king and she still loved him. “But you’re not alight, are you?” She sighed. “Have seen Medusa? Please tells me she knows you’re here.”

It’s obvious you care nothing for him, but I thought you at least cared for me. This is what happens when you keep things from me, Blackagar. You lay waste to our city and give our son to the highest bidder! ‘
