I make good memories for Him..

Every day can be hurting.

Days when I don’t want to be born.

Days when I feel like I’m my high school’s worn-out shoes.

Days when I ask so many questions.

Days when I shut all my doors with curtains down.

But God made NO mistake.

I still consider myself lucky because I have the best childhood memories knowing that I am your favorite. I’m sorry mga manghod but this is the truth. I was just replaced by Longlong nowadays kay sha ang bunso. Hihihi. Peace yow. I love you, Long.

Ako imuhang priority —sa pasalubong na pagkaon pag gikan ka ug work, sa sud-an, sa bag-o na mga sanina or sapatos. Pag birthday nako, gina make sure nimu nga naa gyud koy handa. The best na handa kay kadtong 9 years old ko. Maong mao akong favorite number. Giuban pa nimu si Uncle Titing sa balay. Every Pasko, naa gyud koy bag-o bisan ukay-ukay. Si Mama man gyud grabe ka tipid. Haha. Palusot tapos sabay sabi “branded mana.” Kadtong college ko, doble doble imung work —magsikad pa ka sa buntag to make sure nga naay food sa table and pamasahe naku sa school.

I don’t know nganu ako ang imung favorite. Basin kay ako ang ate, masakiton ko or the fact na pag-abot nimu makita dayun ko kay I always stay at home para mag study.

You have the brightest smile in the world Pa. Bisan nagkalisud na. Bisan gibyaan ka, you remain strong and courageous for your children. And although we lived in a small house, we received so much love. Your love is always pure, sincere and unconditional.

“You’re the best.” Gamit kaayo na nga phrase sa office pag naa mi na-accomplish na maayo. Pero kana nga phrase, para na sa imuha. You are the best, Pa!

Growing up..we didn’t really get the best of both worlds but if ever I am to be reborn I will still choose you as my father. I am proud to be called “anak ni George.”

It’s the effort that always counts.

We celebrate Father’s Day today, but here I am posting a video my siblings had sent me.

There were days when I want to quit.

There were days that it’s hard to accept the reality and that it’s hard to face my fears—valleys, mountains, cold untamed rivers.

There were days when I also question my potential.

Often, I find myself loathing the small steps because I want to be further along in whatever I’m doing.

But small steps, small beginnings are exactly what we need to learn for the greater steps to come.

Ate Barbie, I can’t forget when you said, “You’ll be a great leader because you have God.” I am being reminded.

Today, I conquered the GEMBA client call. I felt overwrought the whole time. And whenever I feel anxious, I make sure to pray and practice.

Today, I know I did well because I have God. Thank you, Boss Marky. You’re such a good mentor. Yup, there’s a 50/50 chance that you might read this.

Thank you to all the leaders who gave their good words— ‘‘twas all soul stirring. I will do better next time. 😉
