- in which five hargreeves has a panic attack about his family and you try to help him through it.

five’s whole body began to shake, almost uncontrollably. he was indeed having a panic attack about his family.

he started to get panic attacks more frequently, exactly like the one he was having right now.

“come on don’t be ridiculous right now.”

my eyes softened, as I watched him pacing back and fourth. over and over again. it did really hurt, seeing him like this. five ignored me and began to start mumbling under his breath.

i sometimes disliked the more stubbornly side of him, because sometimes he wouldn’t listen and do things his own way.

i understand why he was having a panic attack. i mean the world was ending in less than a week now.

honestly who wouldn’t be having a panic attack right now?

he has a hard time confessing about things to basically everyone. he wasn’t really used to it anyways.

the pressure of being the only sibling in his family to understand what was coming. and to actually figure out how to stop this so called ‘apocalypse’ . while his other siblings really didnt care.

“five...”

i murmured, waiting a couple of seconds to get a response.

but there was no response from him.

it was beginning to get off my nerves that i wasn’t really doing anything, so i walked towards him and stopped him from pacing back and fourth.

i placed my hands on his shoulders to prevent him from pacing again, and gently shook him.

he was a bit surprised, but once he saw how hurt i was, he began to stop shaking. which was a really good sign.

“shit...y/n im-“

before he was able to finish his sentence, i embraced five in a tight hug. i could feel his heart racing as i embraced him.

he slowly wrapped his arms around my waist, trying his absolute hardest to not cry.

i knew that he secretly loved my hugs, although it really isn’t a secret anymore. sometimes the hugs would go on for a while.

which i didn’t really mind at all really. so i didn’t complain.

mainly everytime i was with him, like this. it made me feel so comfortable and happy, like an euphoric feeling or moment.

it just made butterflies appear in my stomach.

“you know im here right? if you need anything, im always here for you. i promise, we could even pinky promise if you want.”

i whispered into his ear, trying to comfort him the best i could.

hopefully it was working.

he pulled away, and began to stare into my eyes. he still had his arms around my waist.

then there was silence. but it was only just for a moment.

he leaned towards me, with one of his cute little smiles. which honestly was extremely extremely adorable.

i already knew what he was going to do, so i leaned in too.

as his lips met mine, he gently pulled me closer to him, then ran his thumb down my cheek affectionately.

“i know.”

vanya hargreeves...

honestly, she is one of my favorite characters. I know many people don’t necessarily like her a lot. but she’s extremely precious and cute to me.

she didn’t really get much attention, and would always be left out when vanya was younger. and i absolutely LOVE the sibling relationship between vanya and five. i just think it’s really wholesome.

I see a few similarities between vanya and I, that’s also why she’s one of my favorites right next to five. i just really want to give her the love and affection that she deserves.

towards the end of the umbrella academy season 1, she was pretty badass. and I was just cheering for her. there was a huge plot twist, the one who had ‘no powers’ actually had them. it kinda caught me off guard, but I sorta had it coming anyways.

then, in season 2 of the umbrella academy when it came out. in the start, I didn’t really like sissy. until I realized that her and vanya had some sort of romantic relationship between each other

and I could see that vanya was happy with her, so of course it made me happy seeing her happy. so I ship it. she’s much better than that disgusting leonard guy who just manipulated her. or harold whatever his actually name is. it doesn’t matter, he is annoying.

but it was just so sad, vanya had to say goodbye to sissy. and my heart kind of broke there, knowing that sissy had to stay in that timeline. again, I knew it was gonna happen from the start. that’s why my heart broke.

along with the scene with vanya and ben. that was really heartbreaking too. watching ben disappear. almost too emotional for me to handle. I’m sorry, I’m pretty sensitive to these sort of things.
