We didn't get much of it in season 4. So in seasons 5 and beyond, I am asking for one thing, once again:
BRIDGERTON 👏 DADS 👏 HOLDING 👏 THEIR 👏 BABIES
Colin got to hold his son for a quarter of a second before Portia took him away. Though, admittedly, the actors have said that the baby preferred Nicola and there was at least one take where he refused to let go. So he might not have wanted to stay with Luke for all that long anyway.
And while we saw him and John on the floor playing with baby Polin in the next episode, John was interacting with him the most.
Anthony did get in a good cuddle with Baby Edmund. So, that was nice.
But I need to see ABC holding/playing with their children in the upcoming seasons!
Colin is still in the lead for number of babies held/interacted with: he held his nephew Auggie, met his future nephew Oliver Crane, spoke with his niece Philomena, cradled Elliot's head before swerving to give Penelope a kiss, held him for a fraction of a second before Portia took her grandson, and was on the floor with him watching him play with Uncle John.
Anthony was in the background making faces at Auggie and got to hold and talk to the chattiest baby Edmund.
Benedict looked at Auggie and Edmund from afar but hasn't interacted with the babies too much.
And we got to see Simon holding his newborn son back at the end of season 1.
So if someone on Bridgerton can hand these men a baby or a toddler to interact with next season, that'd be great.
At this rate, we won't see a dad interacting with his children until season 6 with (hopefully) Phillip, Oliver, and Amanda.
