These signs will greet you in Johnson Hall.
Students Informed of Holes in the Ground
Students were blown away by the groundbreaking (ah-thankyou) news last week that Lipscomb groundskeepers made some holes in the ground. A representative of the department sent an email to THE ENTIRE STUDENT BODY to let students know of this incredibly important development on the grounds of the campus. Students were excited to hear the initial news, but disappointed that, after hours of waiting, there still has been no follow-up. How is the aeration going? Are we putting any more holes in the ground soon? Have they planted any new shrubberies? Students have been left on the edge of their seats.
While waiting for the exciting conclusion, at least students can rest assured they can continue to refresh their email page for lots of exciting new emails from various departments at Lipscomb. Including: information on that Breakout Chapel you’ll never go to, parking spots you can’t have, inconvenient changes to Sodexho hours, and many more.
But why stop there? Many students are disappointed in the lack of emails they’re receiving. “I have so much free time, I need to know more things that don’t concern me via email!” one student exclaimed. “How did my professor’s son do in his soccer game? Where did that one secretary in that one department get her sweater? These are things we NEED to know!” he added.
We can only hope the school decides to send out more unnecessary mass emails for the sake of the student body. We can only hope.
In case you missed it, I’m in the UK now! These are some of the places I went during the first few days in London.
